Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
One of the best change-of-pace point guards in the state. This kid is a heady floor general who competes on both ends of the court. One who is looking to distribute the ball first can also deviate and get her own finishes on all three levels. A dynamic ball handler who can create off the dribble. A special talent who will do whatever it takes to win the game. She has several schools courting her now and will be a solid addition for a program at the next level.

Her game continues to grow, and coaches are taking notice of her style of play even more. She is a heady floor general who is as selfless as they come. She can score from multiple spots on the floor, but it’s her ability to be an effective PG that can distribute the ball and make it easy for her teammates to score. She can attack and kick, or attack and dump to a low post player; she makes the read, and the ball gets out of her hands. She plays poise under pressure and truly is someone you could build a team around. This kid loves the game, and you can tell based on the way she gets after it.

It will be interesting to see what other schools jump on board with this prospect. A true floor general, she can run an offense efficiently as well as score the basketball. She is a heady ballplayer who makes the right reads. She utilizes her speed to exploit defenses, has tight handles, and is just hard to contain with her ability to counter whatever teams throw at her. She is solid on both ends of the floor, but I will say teams will love how she commands the offense. Look for her to do big things this upcoming travel ball season.

Another dynamic point guard who is tough with the ball in her hands. She can score it from all three levels, but her ability to get paint touches with ease is second to none. She plays with poise and changes speed well. She averaged 19.8 ppg, 6.3 asp, and 3.7 rpg, and shot 40% from 3. Look for her to be an MVP candidate in the district and among the top kids in her class.

She is making a claim for being one of the best guards in the state. Yes, she is already at the top of her class, but she is putting everyone on notice that she belongs in the conversation with other dynamic guards. She scored 33 points against CA, but it was how she did it that was remarkable. Her defense did the talking; she commanded the offense, and she exploited various areas of the floor. Her ability to change speeds, attack downhill, and finish with contact is second to none. She is a tough competitor who focuses on the task at hand and gets after it. Look for her to be a big component of the Lady Panthers success this postseason. Collegiate coaches will surely be beating down her doors here soon.

A true point guard who runs the FRA machine. She can score the rock from all 3 levels, but knows when and where to take her shot. She plays with poise, doesn’t force, keeps her head up, leading her receiver into an area where they can shoot off the pass. She’s solid on the defensive end, where she creates turnovers. Coaches gameplan for her yet many fall victim to her court awareness and her ability to exploit a defense right away.

A heady floor general who can distribute with the best of them. She has terrific court vision that enables her to hit teammates in stride as they slice to the rim or hit them in their shooters’ pocket, allowing them to catch and shoot. She, to,o can get to the rim and score it or launch from downtown. She has excellent footwork, defends well, and is truly a difference maker when she is on the floor. A solid kid who is going to be a catch for any coach at the next level.
