Megan Johnson Megan Johnson 5'11" | PF West Salem | 2025 State WI
The West Salem product has been one of the most versatile wings in Western Wisconsin for the last two-plus seasons. She’s a physical 5-10 kid who’s defended on the perimeter and against some of the tallest players in the state around the basket and found success doing both. On the offensive end, the Panthers have her scoring in the paint most of the time, but she’s more than capable of stepping out onto the perimeter and knocking down shots. She doesn’t pop out in any one aspect. She’s good at everything.
Makenzie Hawk Makenzie Hawk 6'0" | PF Sun Prairie West | 2025 State WI
In my eyes, Hawk could go scoreless and still leave an impact on a game. Hawk has the size and athleticism suggesting she could be a scholarship player at the next level, and the outline of that is evident. Hawk’s route to being a scholarship-level talent is former Kewaskum standout and current NJIT starter Madi Dogs. She’s not quite as long, but she’s just as athletic and has a higher ceiling offensively than Dogs did in their junior season. As a defender, Hawk has an opportunity to make a name for herself in the Madison area this season and has done so. She’ll be an intriguing name to follow for the next year.
Brooke Stenklyft Brooke Stenklyft 5'11" | SF Cambridge | 2025 State WI
I’m a massive fan of physical wings at the high school, and Stenklyft is that kind of player. She plays in a program where much is asked of her, and she’s done an excellent job at Cambridge. Her game has grown over the past year. She’s expanded her game to the three-point line and looks more comfortable shooting than in the past. She’s always been willing to engage in the physical portion of the game, which I love, and her continuous offensive development has been something to note. I’ll be intrigued by what looks she draws this summer.
Natalie Mueller Natalie Mueller 5'6" | SG Homestead | 2025 State WI
Take your pick on which Homestead kid I like watching play the most. They all play hard and move on the offensive end all the time. Today, we’re talking about Natalie Mueller Natalie Mueller 5'6" | SG Homestead | 2025 State WI specifically. Whenever people first see her, you’ll see a 5-7 guard/wing that doesn’t necessarily pass a traditional eye test, but she does everything. She’s one of the most consistent shooters I’ve ever seen, defends with intensity, crashes the offensive boards, and has more length than you’d expect by watching her from afar. I see her as more of an off-ball guard at her best, but if you watch her film, you can’t help but appreciate everything she does to help her team win games.
