2024 Rankings: Top 3 Point Shooters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In this article we look at some of the top three point shooters in the 2024 Rankings. Some of the top Senior three point shooters have the most three pointers for the season, but most doesn't necessarily mean best. This list consist of players at the top of the three point list for total threes, but also players who I have seen shoot the three up close and personal. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248293' first='Paige' last='Atwater'] tore it up last season, knocking down 89 threes by the end of last season. Atwater is at it again, averaging 18 points per game and has made 49 threes already. Atwater has made 8 in one game at least 5 times in the last 2 seasons. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='221691' first='Mary' last='Kate Kent'] is having a career year and shooting the threes like predecessor, Taliyah Scott. Kent is one of the top Senior scorers and has connected on 41 threes and is averaging over 22 points per game in the first month of the season. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='217666' first='Briana' last='Rivera'] is another bona fide three point shooter and has made 34 threes already. At the Thanksgiving tournament at inside Exposure, Rivera was arguably the top long range shooter in the building. Rivera is also averaging over 11 points per game. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='214172' first='Beckham' last='Hockley'] has knocked down 32 theee pointers and is averaging 22.1 points per game: <br>Hockley is a versatile guard who can play the point or the shooting guard position. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='349375' first='Morgan' last='Gavazzi'] has the clutch gene and a lot of her threes come in crunch time and key moments in the game. Gavazzi finished last season with 49 threes and she is shooting three as well as she did last season. Gavazzi is a three level scorer who can also take the ball to the cup if given the opportunity to drive the ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248291' first='Kennedy' last='Rosendahl'] is one of the top three point shooters in the 2024 class and is capable of stringing threes like popcorn. I've seen her hit 9 in one game and 8 on a few other occasions. She is one of the purest shooters I've witnessed in the high school game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='349274' first='Ella' last='Stakem'] has one of the sweetest three point shots in the high school game. Stakem is very productive from behind the arc and has connecting on nearly 30 threes before opening her presents under the tree. Stakem put on a three point shooting clinic this past weekend at the Battle on the Island in Clay County. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248346' first='Kendall' last='Shorstein'] can shoot the three and is a player who can string them up in a hurry when she gets it going. Shorstein connected on 41 tree in her Junior season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248287' first='Kiyana' last='Hunter'] has knocked down 19 threes and entered last week shooting the three at over 40 percent at the holiday break. Hunter knocked down 4 against Bartram and 3 against Paxon in back to back games. Hunter is efficient and can drive the ball or shoot behind the arc. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='401617' first='Hailey' last='Revak'] is a three point specialist and is efficient as anyone in the State. Revak has connected on 30 three pointers and is on pace for a 50- piece this season. Revak shoots with great confidence and can string up threes when she gets into a rhythm. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='426336' first='Natalie' last='Allen'] can flat out shoot the three and she is a clutch three point shooter at that. Through 10 games, Allen has connected on 24 threes and is averaging over 8 points per game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248262' first='Maria' last='Newman'] has connected on 32 threes and averages 16.2 points per game. Newman has averaged in double digit scoring in 8 of her games played, including a 25 point earlier this summer. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='808696' first='Lesly' last='Gonzalez'] is another shooter who can knock it down from downtown. Through 8 games, the Senior guard has knocked down 24 threes. I saw her play in the preseason and her shooting ability stood out then. She has continued shooting the rock and presently averages 3 threes per game. Gonzalez is undoubtedly one of the top three point shooters in North Florida and in the State. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
