New Hampton fell just short on Friday evening in their contest against Crestwood, 67-75. In this contest the leader for New Hampton, that put up impressive numbers is their Sophomore – Shooting Guard, Ava Leichtman Ava Leichtman 5'6" | SG New Hampton | 2027 IA . Leichtman finished things off with 25 points on 6-18 shooting. She also ended up finishing 2-8 from three and 7-11 from the free throw line so even though the ball wasn’t falling from deep, she still demonstrated that she wasn’t settling while trying to get to the bucket for either a finish or a foul. New Hampton doesn’t have a ton of wins so far this season but Playoff’s are coming up soon and anything can happen so if they play to Leichtman’s strength’s, who knows what could happen in the long run.
