James received one of her first college offers a few weeks ago when D2 – Bemidji State threw their name in the ring. This comes to no surprise. James visited the school and did really well at showing off her potential in front of their staff so it was only a matter of time. That, mixed along with the fact that she has been producing this AAU season and we are starting to see more and more schools becoming interested overall. There is going to be a number of other offers that comes in over the next twelve months for James. She has shown up on most floors she competes on and that’s what matters the most in the long within this process to most.

at a few collegiate levels at this time. James is known as a score-first PG with the ability to get others open off of her own creating ability and her own scoring ability. Offensively, she is very good at using her leverage to get past her initial defender. She has solid body control and that helps her finish some tough takes at the bucket. Defensively, James can matchup on smaller or bigger opponents with her wing-span and speed. This is going to be a big season overall for James and company. Which should lead to some more interest and offers before you know it.

of Duchesne Academy High School. James is a thorough scoring threat and the main overall producer for her high school program at this point in her career. All of their action run’s through James in one way or another when you watch their play-style and I don’t expect any thing to change in this regards for this upcoming season. This team will go as far as James takes them. If she plays her best ball yet, I’m sure this group will go places before you know it.

There is no doubt in my mind that

is going to lead Duchesne Academy out of Omaha once again this Winter. James has been her team’s source of production on both ends of the floor for multiple years now. James, a 5’9 PG, is a ball dominant prospect that can convert several buckets in a short amount of time. When James is on offensively, it’s impressive to say the least. It’s just more-so about see that consistently for the entire duration of a season. James is going to have some dominating performances over the next two years. If she continues to be even more efficient as she gets older, who knows where that might lead her at the end of the day.

, her offensive bag and her natural size makes for a tough matchup with defenders. That’s why in this Update she comes in the Top 25 at #16 for her 2027 Class. James skill on offensive is undeniable. She can score the rock at all offensive levels both off the catch or dribble. She is someone that isn’t afraid to get into her defender physically, always trying to catch an advantage when she can in one way or another while trying to attack the bucket. Defensively, her size matters. She can switch with her length onto a couple different positions. In college, you can only play in places in which you can defend your own position. If James can adapt to that at the next level, she will be just fine moving forward.

3SSB’] was competing with in Day 1 of their Adidas Live Period. James, a skilled PG with a fundamental shooting stroke, had her full arsenal on display to start the weekend. She was hitting catch and shoot jumpers, hitting jumpers off the dribble, she was getting to all her spots on the offensive side of the ball, and she didn’t take off any plays on defense either. James has the potential to compete at the next level. We have said that for a few years now and I expect her to keep on this same trajectory moving forward.

, the more that I love her game-play and the more that I think she can play at a high level of college ball following high school. James would be labeled as a PG but she is more of a CG. Offensively, she has a noteworthy mindset. She is always calculated but aggressive. She knows how to get to her spots and she knows what to do once she is there. She can shoot it, finish with flare, or she can make a nasty assist to another teammate. Defensively, her instincts stand out. James jumps to the ball really well while always having her head on a swivel. This Winter James showed a different level of skill to anyone paying attention. She has always been better than the average for her age level but she put on an offensive clinic on multiple occasions this season. If she continues to compete like this moving into the AAU season, I’m sure her phone won’t stop ringing with offers to come this Summer.

There is no surprise to what Jada James brings to the floor. I highlighted James to start off the weekend because I knew she could put together a weekend to remember and she did just that. James wasn’t the best prospect in the gym but her overall, well-rounded game was up there. The reason I say James played really well is because she did everything, while not having to always score. When you look at her play in this event last season and you look now, you start to understand that mentally she is getting much better. Her shot selection is more efficient, she is trusting her teammates more, and she isn’t only settling for jumpers while trying to score. Last Winter at Duchesne Academy, James played up and made waves as a Freshman. I’m sure that will be much of the same this Winter but we will have to wait and see.

Jada James is coming over from Nebraska to show-out during this event and I can’t wait to see the show she is going to put on. James should put up some noteworthy numbers at this event, as well as the Nebraska Showcase that she is also attending on Sunday evening in Omaha. The best way to describe James’ play-style is steady, crafty, and efficient. When I first had the opportunity to see James compete, she fell in love with the three point line too much for my liking but over the past eight months, that’s really changed. Instead, now James takes what the defense gives her and that leads to a whole lot of buckets on the offensively end. James is going to matchup with a few other really special prospects over the next few days and I can’t wait to see her show out for everyone watching!

League for the Gym Rats. James has slowly grown her game over the past eight months and I can’t wait to see if she can continue that trend moving forward. She was only a Freshman last season at the Varsity level but she stood out right away as someone who would be a main producer for them for the foreseeable future. My biggest challenge for her will be to see how efficient she can be but if she locks that down, the future is bright to say the least about James’s play-style.
