She is dangerous from deep both from a standstill and off-balance, draining 10 of 25 three point attempts over the final three games of that tournament run. During her club season with the Mid-Valley Monarchs, she impressed head coach Ron Hittner with her ability to pressure the ball full-court and finish with both hands over taller defenders. She enters her senior year as the heart and soul of this Crusaders team and headlines a growing list of bright guard talents in Salem.

finished off the first half of her career in style in Pendleton. She led her Regis Rams to 5th-place in the state after an impressive season for the team. Persons had a particularly impressive opening game of the tournament, in which the Rams won a close one over Stanfield in overtime. She scored nearly half of her team’s total, finishing with 20 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists on the evening. Persons had an impressive weekend and showed just how bright of a future she has over the next two years of her career with the Rams.
