Last week I wrote about special performances from the final weeks of the season. Today we’ll look at some of the best senior night performances.
Ryleigh Martin Ryleigh Martin 5’5″ Hewitt Trussville | 2027 AL put on a show in Hewitt’s senior night. Martin put on a scoring clinic as she finished with 27 points in their dominate win over Hueytown. Defensively Martin was special as well as she had 4 steals to go along with her scoring outburst.
Jordan Hunter Jordan Hunter 5’10” | C Hewitt-Trussville | 2024 State AL messed around a got a triple double on senior night. One of the consensus best players in the country finished with 17 points 10 assists and 10 boards. Hunter completely dominated the game. Like Martin, Hunter was great defensively as well as she tallied up 5 steals.
Teagan Huey
Teagan Huey
Teagan Huey had her best performance of the season. Huey put up an efficient 21 points in Spain Park’s win over McAdory. Huey scored from several different spots and did it on an efficient amount of shots.
Emma Kerley
Emma Kerley
Emma Kerley came up big in Briarwood’s close win over Gadsden City. Briarwood won 45-41, and Kerley put up 15 points and 9 boards. Kerley not only had some clutch late baskets, but she also secured some big time rebounds. Kerley almost singlehandedly closed out Gadsden City almost.
Tee King
Tee King
Tee King scored her 1000th point in Pelham’s senior night win over Calera. Tee is off to a phenomenal start early in her high school career, and looks to be a big name in the landscape of Alabama hoops over the coming years.
