In this win, everyone who saw the floor for the Comets, contributed in some sort of way but one of the more critical players was their Post, [player_tooltip player_id='311356' first='Rebecca' last='Aagard']. When I highlighted this matchup yesterday, I mentioned how the Cardinals will have the size advantage as a group but Aagard did a suburb job of holding her own underneath the basket. In the end, she scored 9 Points and secured 15 Rebounds. If you look back and rewatch this contest, you can see how each rebound came at an important time. Aagard may have not of scored the most points or anything crazy like that but her rebounds mattered and were a big factor into sending this group to the Well.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='940993' first='Mollie' last='Schnormeier']","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"5'10u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"12124","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Gilbert","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Gilbert High School hosted the Xavier Saints last night and they came out on top victorious by a final of 60-57. In the Tigers win, the player that handled the work load for the team was Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='940993' first='Mollie' last='Schnormeier']. Schnormeier was fantastic. She was flying all of the floor, dominating her mismatches when they presented themselves, and when her team needed a basket - she made it happen.  At the final buzzer, she recorded 22 Points (6-13), 9 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 1 Block, and 3 Steals. At the State Tournament next week, it's going to take another performance like this one to help the Tiger's continue with their momentum. In Round One they will face off against the undefeated powerhouse that is the CCA Clippers. It's not going to be easy but if they want to come out on top, they are going to have to come up with a good strategy and build from that. Something that is definitely do-able.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["817576"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"When you break down the numbers of the Bishop Heelan Crusaders, you see that they have several ways to beat you on the offensive side of the floor. They have skilled prospects at every position with a few players that can come in and back up their starters, if they happen to get in foul trouble early. This is why this group is so dangerous moving into the State Tournament. With that being said, an individual for them that has been a stand out and their u0022X-Factoru0022, all season long has been their Post presence, [player_tooltip player_id='817576' first='Abby' last='Lee']. Lee didn't score a whole lot in their 30 point win last night but she had 17 Rebounds and 4 Blocks in the middle of the lane. Lee's presence plays more of a role that most might care to admit. Without her in the middle, the dynamic of this team and program would be much different. She is the glue that strings together stops and cohesiveness within their unit. If she can continue with this production and everyone else who is offensively gifted, continues to do their thing. Well then we should be seeing this team in the 4A State Title game before things are said and done this season.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Aubrey Johansen","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"5'9u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"12124","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Dallas Center-Grimes","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"The DCG Mustangs beat Pella Christian for the Third time in 20 days yesterday to punch their ticket to the Well. The reality is that it's hard to beat any team three times in a season. It's kind of an, u0022unwritten ruleu0022, you might say. To have to do that within three weeks is even tougher so you can imagine how impressive this victory is for everyone involved. In this contest, one of the more efficient producers for the Mustangs was their Forward, Aubrey Johansen. Johnansen is a u0022Swiss Army knifeu0022 type player. She can be used in a few ways but which ever way she is being used, she usually does a good job of making her presence known. For example, last night she had 14 Points in her teams victory, along with a handful of other positive stats. It's really impressive the run the this DCG Mustangs program has made over the past few years. They aren't done yet but they definitely deserve their flowers at this point for putting together a well ran program that always competes.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["655384"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='655384' first='Campbell' last='Schulz'] may only be a Freshman but she has demonstrated this season that she will be a player that we will be talking about a lot throughout her next few years at the high school level. Schulz has always been pretty solid whenever I've seen her on the AAU floor. She is a prospect that competes on both sides of the court, she doesn't take plays off, and she is pretty skilled on the offensive end compared to most her age. She displays good touch and balance while attacking her opponents and she usually does a good job of not forcing the action. Which is important because many young players, don't understand the risk-reward side of things like Schulz does. North Polk has a lot of players, that can kill you in a number of ways and that's what it's going to take if they want to bring home a State Title this winter. Last night, Schulz finished the contest with 12 Points on 50% shooting in her team's win. A promising stat line but nothing that she is going to be satisfied with.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65d620148f368"} /-->
