Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA is committed to compete at UNI after next season at North Polk High School. Schulz is a natural. More than most. She plays intently at the guard position, primarily moving between the 2 and the 3 position. She is efficient with her dribble and she can play off the ball as a shooter off the catch. She is very good at understanding her team’s offensive system and moving into open space whenever that system might end up breaking down throughout a possession. I’m hoping Schulz is a house name over the next few years with the Panthers. They are bringing in a lot of in-state recruits in their upcoming recruiting Classes and Schulz could be one of the best if she sticks with it.

I am loving the season that Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA has put together at North Polk. The steady junior has put herself on the map in Central Iowa and has steadily improved in every statistical category since last season. Currently second on the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game, Schulz has proven she can score efficiently at every level on the floor while leading the way on the defensive end (she leads the Comets in both steals and blocks). Schulz is listed at 5’10” and her versatility on the floor, both offensively and defensively, will be critical for North Polk if they want to cause some upsets in the tourney.

Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA showed her skillset and efficiency this weekend against a gritty Xavier team, and her efforts helped North Polk get a big 53-56 win. Schulz showed her ability to score across the floor by going 7/9 from the field, knocking down all eight of her free throws, and nailing a three pointer (good for a game-high 23 points). Schulz also chipped in 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Schulz has a high IQ and makes solid plays — any time she’s got the ball in her hands she just makes good things happen. I would keep my eye on Schulz this summer during the recruitment period.

Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA showed a lot of promise last Winter with North Polk and she is ready to take on an even bigger role this time around. Schulz was an underclassmen who put up double digits in PPG, along with averaging a number of Rebounds, Assists, & Steals throughout a contest. This season Schulz will return as producer #1 for her group. She should be one of the main options for the Comets on the offensive end while also being a sound advocate on defense. This is someone that has a well rounded game and it looks like she has only gotten better in the off-season. If their new coaching staff can figure some things out early with the prospect they have, they should be steady sailing moving into the month of December.

UNI scooped up another in-state recruit this week when Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA of North Polk committed there earlier today. Schulz has been a main producer for her North Polk High School team for two years now, showing a lot of dedication, promise, and willingness to learn from those around her. She is sure to be a main asset for the Comets once again this upcoming season at the CG position. She is coordinated, she has good size for her position, she is skilled on and off the ball, and she is someone who isn’t a liability to you as a coach. All things that should help her translate to the next level in one way or another with the Panthers.

The Comet’s depth is what stands out about this varsity program as a whole. They have a ton of weapons at basically every position on the floor. An underclassman that really stepped up tonight was Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA . As you can tell from the stat line above, this is someone that was a difference maker from start to finish. Most all of her action came while she was curling to the hoop. That or she would take her defender off of the dribble and get all the way to the basket for a simple finish. There is a lot to like about Schulz as a prospect. She checks a lot of boxes in the terms of playing the game the right way and that always seems to translate to the next level.

A big reason that the Comets are favorited in a lot of contests this winter is because of their underclassman group. They have a program that is filled with promising, young players and they are going to be looked upon for some meaningful production this season. Someone that comes to mind, who has been playing extremely well on the offensive end thus far is Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA . She scored over 12 points in their most recent contest and she did it pretty efficiently. She kept things simple, played through their system, and everyone was successful in the end because of it. It’s going to be fun to see North Polk go to work. If things fall into place, they are going to win a lot of games over the next few months.

Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA is someone that stepped on the Varsity floor last year, helping her North Polk team make it to the State Tournament and I’m sure that will be the same situation this upcoming Winter season. Schulz has a picture perfect shooting stroke, a smart head on her shoulders, and she possesses the ability to adapt in the blink of an eye if need be. The North Polk Comets are going to have a chance to make it back to the Well this season. Especially when you have prospects like Schulz in your back court, who understand how to compete at a high level.

Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA left her mark on her North Polk program as a Freshman and I wouldn’t be suprised to see that continue on into the future. Schulz works hard and always leaves it all on the floor. This season she demonstrated the she can come in and be an important piece to a successful program in more ways than one. She rebounds hard, understands when to take advantage of her opportunities, and she keeps a positive attitude when things don’t go her way, no matter what the situation may be. In this Update, Schulz didn’t move too many spots on our list but that’s okay. If she continues to work hard and demonstrates that she can make things happen, she is going to be a main option for this team over the next three seasons.

Campbell Schulz Campbell Schulz 5'9" | CG/SG North Polk | 2027 State IA may only be a Freshman but she has demonstrated this season that she will be a player that we will be talking about a lot throughout her next few years at the high school level. Schulz has always been pretty solid whenever I’ve seen her on the AAU floor. She is a prospect that competes on both sides of the court, she doesn’t take plays off, and she is pretty skilled on the offensive end compared to most her age. She displays good touch and balance while attacking her opponents and she usually does a good job of not forcing the action. Which is important because many young players, don’t understand the risk-reward side of things like Schulz does. North Polk has a lot of players, that can kill you in a number of ways and that’s what it’s going to take if they want to bring home a State Title this winter. Last night, Schulz finished the contest with 12 Points on 50% shooting in her team’s win. A promising stat line but nothing that she is going to be satisfied with.
