Kailee Bransford
Landing on the second-team is a player who was very key in the late run through the tournament. MND was one game away from the Final Four, and Bransford was a big factor all season. On a balanced team, Kailee averaged 12.3 points per game while she was a dual threat both in the paint when she penetrated, and when she scored from the perimeter. A fun player to watch and I expect her game to continue to grow.
She comes at you from everywhere on the floor. Destiny has such a high motor and she has great athleticism with a good basketball IQ. She can score in all three phases. She will take her game to the University of Toledo next season and she lands a spot on this prestigious second-team list.
She is the only freshman in Division One to make the second-team and she showed a lot of promise as her game improved throughout the season. She is the top ranked freshman in Ohio in the latest 2027 class rankings and she was key in the great season at Olentangy. She averaged 17 points per game on a team with some solid talent, and deserves a spot among this group.
Excellent scorer and has the ability to score in bunches, from anywhere. She has excellent range and was among the most productive seniors in Northeast Ohio, dropping over 19 points per game. Outstanding floor leader and solid handles. Had a very efficient career at Copley. Leads her team into the Final Four this weekend. (Feature photo above)
Like Callaway, Caitlyn Holmes Caitlyn Holmes 5’8″ | CG Akron Ellet | 2025 State OH is a player who can explode for a big night as she averaged 18 per game this season. She has committed to Kent State, and currently holds the career scoring mark at Ellet with a full season to go. Even with that said, she just wants to win and do what she can to make that happen. Very good player in Ohio.
