After catching her at the Space City Slam (read evaluation here), Bouie went to Phoenix for Nike EYCL session 1, and led her team in scoring including a 29 point scoring performance (view complete stats here). Bouie uses an effortless stride to make moves look flawless. I am expecting highlight-worthy performances from the sophomore this weekend.

Bouie continues to climb the charts after a blistering high school season, as she filled the stat sheet until the pen ran out of ink, yet not only did she continue putting up numbers to start the club season, including EYBL Session 1, her ability to blow past defenders to score or confuse them with the step back adds a nice touch see evaluations here

Long, lengthy guard who plays with poise and control, standing out as a top performer. She uses an effortless stride to break down defenders and get to the basket, consistently putting pressure on the defense. What separates her is how easy she makes difficult moves look—changing pace smoothly to attack gaps, finishing through contact in the air, or stopping on a dime for a reliable midrange jumper.

Bouie grabbed my attention before she even entered high school, and I dropped the #D1Lock on her, and one thing that has impressed me is her ability to stand out in multiple settings, especially turning into a leader on her high school team, along with being on a scoring tear this season see evaluation here

Bouie had me ready to drop my coveted #D1Lock on her on my second sighting, see evaluation here, and one more time, I am a REAL EVALUATOR, not a guesser. She made several jumps over the next few events. I caught her in see evalautions here yet she’s on the verge of something big because she’s becoming a “nightmare to defend” and watching her score off the dribble, at times finishing acrobatically after contact, as well as showing an improved “stoop and pop” jumper, big club season coming

#33 up from #47 Bouie has made one of the most impressive jumps this season because I see the maturity as well as the desire has shot up and speaking of shooting up, her potential is still high because she’s long and athletic, applies “on the ball” heat, yes, that includes playing the passing lane but her midrange is clicking, so is her court vision see evaluations here

Bouie is “long and athletic” remember that is and always will be the base. She impressed me the first time I saw her a couple of seasons ago and added her to the Watch List immediately, yet I’m WATCHING her take it to another level. Her first step was a problem as she blew by defenders to score, yet her pull-up jumper gave her options. I also liked her threading the needle, aka blistering passes between defenders, and she played the passing lane

#47 (Up from #49)
Bouie left a lasting first impression during the club season and solidified what I saw initially on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit last year. Fast forward to the Nike Pro Skills Houston tryout, I saw even more improvement yet she’s another “long and athletic” player and her upside is high see evaluation here

Bouie has also made several of my Tip Sheets, she even made it from the first tryout see evaluations here yet she attacked the basket relentlessly from multiple angles and finished after the lick. She also rebounded and did a good job defending both in and outside the paint, plus her midrange pull-up looked good

Bouie has also elevated her game, yeah, she too is “long and athletic” and left a lasting first impression when I caught her on the PGH Circuit last season, I pay attention and I am a REAL EVALUATOR. She sliced by defenders with ease to attack and score in the set yet her ball handling has gotten better and she stayed under control going full speed after the rebound or playing the passing lane
