How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to think a few moves ahead, take calculated risks and go all in when it counts. Whether it’s a team game or solo, I stay calm under pressure and always play to win — but I never forget to have fun!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m grounded and grateful for every opportunity I get. I know there’s always more to learn, so I stay coachable and keep pushing myself. I bring energy, passion, and heart to everything I do — not just to win, but to grow. I’m confident in who I am, but I never let ego get in the way of the team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m actively involved in the Black Student Union and the National Honor Music Society. I earned 1st place at the IHSA Music Competition and proudly serve as a Fenwick Shield Leader, helping guide and support my peers.Outside of school, I volunteer with nonprofit organizations that feed the homeless and support mothers who have lost children to gun violence. Giving back to my community is important

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my role as a Fenwick Shield Leader and as a teammate on and off the court, I've grown as a leader. I’ve learned the value of communication, resilience, and serving others through community work. These experiences have helped shape me into someone who leads with heart and works hard for what she believes in.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced significant challenges that shaped who I am today. During my sophomore year, I lost my best friend to cancer, and just a few months later, my great-grandmother also passed away. These losses were tough, but they taught me the value of resilience, faith, and cherishing every moment. They also deepened my commitment to live with purpose and be a source of strength for others

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that feels like a community — a place that values academic excellence, supports student-athletes, and encourages leadership and service. I want a school where I can grow both on and off the court, surrounded by people who challenge me, support me, and share a commitment to making a difference.
