Bosquet's state championship performance alone was good enough to name her as the best player in the state tournament, but what a performance she had to hoist a state title. In a 48-32 win, the sophomore dominated the paint, finishing with 29 points on 57 percent shooting from the field, 17 rebounds and an insane six blocks. Not only was she the star of the show, she crossed the 1000 point mark in her career as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='446572' first='Janaya' last='Prince']-Baquero - Barrington (2024)

Prince-Baquero unfortunately struggled from the floor as the whole of Barrington did in the overall state title game. A couple of late threes did help to try to close the gap as she finished with 11 points, hitting 3 three-pointers in the process, but it was just a tough day from the field overall. For her, it seemed to be just a blip on what was otherwise a fantastic high school career and a state runner-up finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='428118' first='Maddison' last='Krug'] - North Kingstown (2025)

North Kingstown threw as much as it could against Moses Brown in the state semifinals, coming up just short in a 50-44 final. Krug was one of those big sparkplugs for the Skippers, finishing with 16 points, a made three-pointer and 5-of-8 shooting from the foul line. Twelve of her 16 points came in the second half, including eight in the third quarter alone, helping to set up a thrilling finish.

Finola Gately - North Kingstown (2027)

Falling short in the state semis wasn't what North Kingstown had on its bingo card coming into the season, but what a bright future the Skippers have upcoming. One of its biggest pieces is Finola Gately, a freshman who played like an upperclassman against Moses Brown. She sunk a trio of threes, providing some balanced scoring overall as she finished with 13 points. Big things are coming for Gately in the future no doubt.

[player_tooltip player_id='340757' first='Amelia' last='Polichetti'] - St. Mary Academy-Bay View (2024)

Bay View was overmatched in its state semifinal matchup against Barrington, but if there was one constant in the 15-point loss, it was senior [player_tooltip player_id='340757' first='Amelia' last='Polichetti']. Most of her damage came in the first half, scoring nine points, including seven in the second quarter as she finished with 16 points. That included a pair of threes in the third quarter, a strong finish to what was an exciting high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id='298229' first='Isys' last='Dunphy'] - Barrington (2025)

It was the state semifinals against Bay View where Dunphy shined brightest for Barrington. As teammate [player_tooltip player_id='446572' first='Janaya' last='Prince']-Baquero provided the perimeter offense, her junior counterpart was making things happen down low, finishing with 12 points and shooting 4-of 7 from the foul line. Certainly not the best percentages from the charity stripe, but it showcased her aggression and tenacity in the paint extensively.
