When looking over the list of 2028 Players in Iowa that was recently published, the thing that stood out the most to myself is the versatility of the group. Most of these prospects can do more than one thing, really well for their age on the court. In this article we talk about five more individuals to know moving forward out of this Class. Individuals that are going to step up early on in their high school careers and show their worth in a plethora of different ways.

Carmichael will only be a Freshman at Dowling Catholic this 2024-2025 season but she stands with good size at 5'9 and she understands the game of basketball in more ways than one. This Spring/Summer she will be competing with the [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] program out of Des Moines as she tries to expand her game and figuring out what her niche will be in high school. Up until this point, she has pretty much handled anyone that has come across her on the middle school court and she is ready for more of a challenge. The DC program that she will be joining up with does a great job of helping their prospects grow their game. As long as Carmichael comes in with an open mind, I'm sure she is going to find success in one way or another over the next few years. She just needs to continue to work moving forward. Something I'm not too worried about.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["882736"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='882736' first='Emersyn' last='Flattery'] is going to be lacing up her kicks with Urbandale this upcoming high school season and I'm sure she is going to make an impact almost right away. Flattery is a quick moving guard, with fast feet and high energy. She has demonstrated as of late that she has a crispy handle while dribbling the ball and she is pretty good at scoring once she gets downhill, going toward the basket at full speed. She understands what she does best and what the others around her on the floor do best. I would be surprised if she didn't see the floor in some facet this Varsity season. I'm not saying go and make her the Day 1 starter but I have a feeling she is going to prove her worth and work her way up so by the end of the year, seeing some minutes at that Varsity level. I could be off on this assessment so we will just have to wait and see but from the looks of it, she will be a name we mention a few times this Winter with how she can impact a ball game.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["880921"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Someone that is going to work her way up these next few years for Ankeny High School will be PG, [player_tooltip player_id='880921' first='Callie' last='Stull']. Stull is a smaller Guard, who can pass, shoot, and defend with the best of them. When I had a chance to see her compete in a showcase earlier this Spring she was lighting it up from deep every chance she got, while being someone that wasn't afraid to pass to an open teammate up the court. In transition she is one of the first to set up on the perimeter for a look but if that opening is taken away, she can adapt and get all the way to the rim off the dribble or she will cut to the other side to create space for her teammate with the basketball. There are some intangibles that Stull has shown over these past few months that intrigue me. I think her knowledge of the game is higher then most her age and that should be on full display during this AAU season, leading up to the high school year.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["880929"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='880929' first='Taylor' last='Perkins'] would be considered a CG or SF in my opinion at this moment in time and I think that is going to stay true moving into her Freshman season at Pleasantville High School. Perkins will have a chance to see the Varsity floor as a Freshman and if she doesn't, I would be surprised. She is someone that has long arms, she is good in situational basketball, and she has a higher motor than most I've seen from this age group. If she can be put in ideal situations, she should be put some numbers this first year but we will just have to wait and see. This is another prospect that I haven't had a chance to see too much in detail but when I did see her compete, she was noteworthy. She made things happen on the offensive end when her team needs a bucket, while being someone who is disciplined enough to stay down and get some major stops on the defensive side of the ball. I'll be fun to Perkins progression moving forward. She is a promising young talent and I don't expect that to change any time soon.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["883553"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"I may not know much but what I do know is that [player_tooltip player_id='883553' first='Quinn' last='Pershing'] is going to come into her Freshman year at Mount Vernon ready to go. Pershing has been waiting for this moment for a few years now. She has been in the lab with her father working relentlessly on every aspect of her game and she is ready to put that work to the test. Pershing is a Guard, that is going to be able to score the ball at a high rate from all three levels, especially shooting it, while being a stout defender in both the half and full courts. Sometimes a prospect's work speaks for itself and something about Quinn is that she never stops working. Doesn't matter if she just played a 30 minutes game or if she just had a two hour practice, afterward she wants to become better. There aren't too many prospects that I've seen work this hard at this age. If she can continue to expand her game at steady rate this offseason leading up into the Winter, she should be a difference maker within this Mustangs program almost right away. She is someone that prides herself on being well-rounded and that's going to do her wonders in the long run. The Mustangs will return most of their Varsity team moving into the 2024-2025 season so that will play a factor but once she gets a chance, it's going to be hard to pull her off the court. That's for sure.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-660de9ab38a8c"} /-->
