‘s skill set is pretty impressive. Stull is a guard that understands what she is good at. She knows to bring the ball down the floor efficiently, she knows how to orchestrates those around her into their correct positions so that their system works, and she knows how to control pace of play of the entire game as a whole. We witnessed all of these things on full display at this event out of Stull. She held her own and kept it simple, things that all coaches love to see from an outside perspective.

of Ankeny High School. Stull kept her handle in check, she limited her dribbles – staying efficient while attacking or creating, and she was always one of the first on the floor for a loose ball when the opportunities presented themselves. Stull is a team player. Someone that is willing to do anything for the good of the team and that’s someone all coaches love to have apart of their program. No matter if it’s at the high school or college levels.

Callie anticipates the game pretty well, active and aggressive toward the ball. And pick and score off the steel. Seems to move well about the wall just looking to gain some experience with her skill set. Switches hands well on the drive to the rim.

From the first time that I saw Callie Stull last year, to now, is much different. Stull is a guard that brings a positive attitude, good communication, and some solid skill to the floor. She is someone that has had steady progression over the past couple of years and if she continues with that trend, she will find herself in a producing situation as an upperclassman at Ankeny High School. Against prospects her own age, Stull does whatever is needed and she is usually successful because of it. She is someone that is going to be a solid role player at the Varsity level one day and I’m exciting for when that time comes.

at an event prior to her 8th grade year, I was satisfied with her production and I’m sure over time that her production is only going to grow on the hardwood. Stull is a player of opportunity. She plays with common sense and she is someone that can help lead a team if need be. At the guard position, she is someone that isn’t going to hurt you in many ways, while helping you compete with some positive energy. At Ankeny, they are going to have their stars back again this year at the Varsity level so it just depends how everyone else falls into place. If Stull works hard enough, she will be given a chance over time and I can’t wait to see what she makes of that opportunity.

. Stull is a smaller Guard, who can pass, shoot, and defend with the best of them. When I had a chance to see her compete in a showcase earlier this Spring she was lighting it up from deep every chance she got, while being someone that wasn’t afraid to pass to an open teammate up the court. In transition she is one of the first to set up on the perimeter for a look but if that opening is taken away, she can adapt and get all the way to the rim off the dribble or she will cut to the other side to create space for her teammate with the basketball. There are some intangibles that Stull has shown over these past few months that intrigue me. I think her knowledge of the game is higher then most her age and that should be on full display during this AAU season, leading up to the high school year.
