Southern Jam represented the return to the court for many. For one of the top players in the State, this was her return to the Grassroots circuit for another reason. Holland Harris Holland Harris 6'2" | SF Monteverde Academy | 2025 State FL returned to the circuit on the heals of winning the National Championship at Monteverde. Holland and many of her counterparts played well at Southern Jam, and over and over it was apparent that “She’s Back” matched a lot of individual circumstances: Injury, return to the game, etc. In this article we hilight the return of several of the top performers at this event.
Holland Harris Holland Harris 6’2″ | SF Monteverde Academy | 2025 State FL was back on the AAU circuit, fresh off of a National Championship at Monteverde Academy. game and she was determined to make up for time lost. Holland attacked the rim with a vengeance and had all the tools out of the tool bag on Day One. She attacked the rim, shot the three ball, rebounded with a vengeance, scored at every level, and threw some dimes out there as well.

Asya Lara Barnes Asya Lara Barnes 6’0″ | SF DME Academy | 2025 State FL was all of that and then some at the Southern Jam Tournament. The Junior guard was unstoppable and scored every way imaginable. Barnes attacks the rim hard and puts a lot of pressure on the defense to stop her. Wasn’t much stopping her on Day one as the Junior Barnes hit 4 threes, had 8 freethrows, scored 28 points, and made a huge statement about her position in the State’s 2025 class.
Falisa White Falisa White 6’2″ | SF Ed White | 2027 State FL was dominant in her first game and the opponent just didn’t have a matchup or answer for the versatile forward. White ran pick and roll and had a field day. She is physically gifted and very athletic. White also was a killer in the paint on short jumpers, offensive rebounds, and in the transition game. She played well and showed all the reason that she is one on the top rated players in the 2027 class.
Jadynn Spivey Jadynn Spivey 5’9″ | SG Creekside | 2025 State FL was finally back on the courts after missing the last week of regular season in high school basketball and the District playoffs. Spivey was on her game and displayed grit, toughness, and a high basketball IQ. She got to the rim with ease and really shot it well from behind the three point line. She kept the pressure on the defense by driving the ball, and she passed it well after drawing the double team. The most intriguing part of Spivey’s game was her competitiveness. She took offensive charges, dove on the floor for loose balls, and did whatever it took to win.

Bianca Hall Bianca Hall 5’7″ | PG First Academy | 2027 State FL is a name that folks will be hearing about over the next 3 years. Here are a few impressive things Hall was a part of on day one. She scored the teams first 11 points, connected on 3 or 4 three pointers in the first half, maneuvered through the defense and scored after on a reverse pivot in the paint, and just played like a coach on the floor. Hall is only a Freshman and was playing like a seasoned veteran with an off-the-chart basketball IQ. She was impressive and one of the top performers on Day 1 of the event. The Scary thing is that she’s back for 3 more years.
