Versatile Names to Know in the 2029 Rankings Expansion

With the expansion of the Prep Girls Hoops Florida Class of 2029 rankings from 30 players to 125, a number of versatile players above 5'10 have entered since the rankings debuted in January. As always, rankings are not a snapshot of who played the best last weekend, but they are a projection of future college-level impact based on current skill set, physical tools, athleticism, long-term upside, and overall trajectory. The 2029 class remains the least viewed and evaluated group in the state that is ranked, which means there is still plenty of movement ahead as players continue to develop over the next several years. In basketball, factors such as size, length, athleticism, and positional versatility often carry significant weight because of how they project to higher levels of the game. Most importantly, players should not allow a ranking number to define them. Rankings are meant to recognize achievement, spark conversation, and provide an opinion on where a player's game currently stands while projecting where it could go in the future. She can protect the rim, handle the ball in the open floor, and step out to knock down perimeter shots which gives coaches flexibility in how she can be utilized. Her game is strong around her impact in the paint, where she excels as an offensive rebounder and second-chance scorer while finishing effectively through traffic. Veda uses her size, length, and athletic bounce to elevate around the basket and moves well in the post which allows her to be productive around the rim on both ends of the floor. What makes her especially intriguing is her ability to complement that interior presence with perimeter skills, creating a multi-dimensional profile that projects well long term. Her athleticism, maturity, confidence, and ability to contribute in a variety of ways made her a natural addition to the rankings expansion. While still relatively raw, she possesses a frame that projects well as she continues to add strength and experience over the coming years. Kinley plays hard, competes consistently, and benefits from receiving significant in-game reps and minutes, which has accelerated her growth. She possesses an excellent frame for her position and continues to show growth offensively, particularly with her outside shot becoming more efficient and consistent. Aubreigh rebounds exceptionally well for her position by using her length and instincts to create extra possessions and finish possessions defensively. She is also comfortable handling the ball and bringing it up the floor, a valuable trait that adds to her versatility and overall projection. With her blend of physical tools, improving perimeter game, and ability to contribute across several areas, Aubreigh has significant upside as she continues to develop.
