Elkhorn South | 2027
NE
comes to us this AAU season after coming off of a solid Freshman campaign at Elkhorn South High School this past Winter. Holmes is a 5’9 Small Forward, that really impacts a contest on the defensive end of the floor whenever she is competing. She is solid in the offensive department with her mixture of length and knowledge of the game but she definitely stands out as a great defender out of the 2027 Class in Nebraska up until this point. She is usually good for a block of two a game, several tips/deflections, and a lot of buckets in transition while coming down the floor. If Holmes plays to her full potential moving forward over the next three seasons, she is someone that will be making her mark on any floor she competes on.

Kearney | 2027
NE
comes to us as a very athletic and intelligent Shooting Guard from Kearney High School out of Nebraska. Lee is a multi-sport athlete, that does a great job of letting the game come to her. She isn’t the type to force action but instead she takes what the defense gives her and she has a lot of success because of that. This is another young prospect in their career, who could put it together over these next three seasons at the high school level. She has all the intangibles to be someone with a great basketball career with the correct guidance and work ethic moving forward.

Cedar Falls | 2027
IA
is going to be a prospect out of Cedar Falls High School, that gets a chance to show what she can do this upcoming Winter on the Varsity Floor. Vore is someone with a great mixture of size and ability. She is someone that stands at 5’10, she has a fundamental shooting stroke with fantastic balance, and she is always willing to help out a teammate in need. Over the past year she has demonstrated that she can line up shots from deep and hit them at a high rate when given time, she can stick in front of her personal matchups, and she gets her hands on a ton of loose balls throughout a contest. If she continues to play with this type of tenacity and she continues to polish up her game as a whole, she could be a vital piece in her team’s success moving into the future. That’s for sure.

IA
may not of been ranked prior to our upcoming Update in June but that is all about to change. Amble has one of the traits you can’t teach and that is height. Amble stands at 6’3 and she moves well for her size with her balance and coordination. Offensively, she is a prospect that is very good with her back to the basket. She has proven that she can either score straight up and over her defender or she has a nice step through move going left to get a bucket if her defenders were to jump at her original pump

. Amble was so prominent in the Post the past year that her teammates at times would just throw it up for her to catch. She could be doubled with a player in front of her and with a player behind her. It didn’t matter. She would still catch it near the paint for an easy bucket over both. If she continues to work and her game catches up to her size, she could be a top Center prospect out of the state of Iowa in the 2026 Class.

I have a feeling that we are going to see a lot more of Mallory Wohlers Mallory Wohlers 5'10" | SF Lewis Central | 2026 IA this Winter at Lewis Central High School on the Varsity floor. Wohlers is a 5’10 Forward, that didn’t see too much of the floor this past Winter because of how stacked her team was but when she did get into the game, she made the most of her opportunities. For example, on the season she made it into 14 of her teams 24 contests and in those games she was 50% shooting from the field, while going 1/1 from behind the three point line. Not to mention that she was grabbing a ton of Rebounds and stuffing the stat sheet as much as she could to help her team compete. Like I said, this Winter should be different. LC will need prospects to step up to fill some big shoes and I think Wohlers is going to be in that conversation to help them out.
