Vore sneaks into the article because of her BPG and Total Block numbers. Vore, the 5’11 CG, recorded over 50 Blocks on the season as a whole while competing at the 3 and 4 positions. People under estimate what Vore can bring to a program. She is a good option to have on the offensive side with better than average size. She is coordinated for that size and she can defend at a steady rate against other Guards or Forwards. All in all, we have spoke about Vore for 3/4 years now. She is going to be on a talented Cedar Falls team this Winter once again so as long as she contributes per usual – they should continue to have success as a whole and that’s more success than they have had over the last couple of years.

Everyone should watch out for Cedar Falls High School the next few years. This season they should have a Senior leader in Taylor Vore taking over. She will be paired with some really talented Underclassmen and that could lead to a nasty combination out on the hardwood once the Winter begins. Vore returns this Winter as one of her team’s Top 3 producers as a whole as a Junior. The only individuals in front of her in these stat categories graduated in the Spring so now it’s time for her to shine for these next eight months before going off to college. Vore brings a better than average shooting stroke from the field, she can finish at the bucket when she gets downhill, she rebounds at a through rate – demonstrating that she cares about the little things, and she isn’t a slouch on defense. As a potential future recruit for the next level Vore can do some things so it’ll be interesting to see where she might end up.

Over the past few seasons, Cedar Falls has been led by a D1 talent but this upcoming Winter that talent will be gone due to graduation so prospects like Vore are going to be needed to step up even more than they did this past year. Vore likes to be one pass, right off the ball on offense with her quick trigger from deep off the catch. If defenses end up falling asleep, she is sure to let it fly within space whenever she has the room. This AAU season is a big one for Vore. I’m hoping that she can step up for the Ball Stars and make plays down the stretch of some highly anticipated games. If she does that, she is going to have a few coaches reaching out with interest.

Cedar Falls High School is going to be looking for a lot of production this Winter, after losing their main producer from the past few seasons due to graduation. Someone out of their 2027 Class, that I’m a big fan of and who could make some waves this season is 5’11 SG, Taylor Vore. Vore has natural length, a sweet shooting stroke, and a fundamental base to build off of in whatever she is attempting to do. Defensively, she reacts quickly to anything happening around her and the natural instincts that she brings to the table are second-to-none at times. With the Tigers this Winter, I wouldn’t be surprised if Vore put together a solid reason with some better than average numbers across the board. She showed this weekend that she can take opportunity and turn it into positive plays so I’ll be looking out for that over these next six months.

Cedar Falls Varsity program is going to have to find more producers to take over the offensive workload this Winter with the loss of their past star, Grace Knutson due to graduation. Someone from their underclassmen group, who could prove to be an important piece in the grand scheme of things is SG, Taylor Vore Taylor Vore 5'11" | SG/SF Cedar Falls | 2027 State IA . Vore is a natural Shooting Guard, with better than average size for her position at 5’11. Offensively, she has demonstrated on multiple occasions that she can make deep buckets on rotation, pass to an open teammate, or she can screen away from the ball to create space. Defensively, she is someone that can stick with alike size prospects around the perimeter, competing on each play coming down the floor. I’m curious how the coaching staff of Cedar Falls is going to come into this season more than anything but if they do come with a solid game-plan, they should see success in multiple ways before the season comes to a close.

Vore is someone with a great mixture of size and ability. She is someone that stands at 5’10, she has a fundamental shooting stroke with fantastic balance, and she is always willing to help out a teammate in need. Over the past year she has demonstrated that she can line up shots from deep and hit them at a high rate when given time, she can stick in front of her personal matchups, and she gets her hands on a ton of loose balls throughout a contest. If she continues to play with this type of tenacity and she continues to polish up her game as a whole, she could be a vital piece in her team’s success moving into the future. That’s for sure.
