stands out when she competes on the court because she doesn’t need to score or have the ball in her hands to make her mark on a contest. Holmes plays the Forward position and she understands her strengths/weaknesses. She is a lengthy defender, that can get stops in several different ways against alike sized opponents or she can wall up and compete against someone bigger. If Holmes can keep this up and show her work without always having to score, she should be someone who see’s the floor a decent amount these next three years at the Varsity level for the Elkhorn South Storm but we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out. They do have several talented young prospects so anything can happen.

comes to us this AAU season after coming off of a solid Freshman campaign at Elkhorn South High School this past Winter. Holmes is a 5’9 Small Forward, that really impacts a contest on the defensive end of the floor whenever she is competing. She is solid in the offensive department with her mixture of length and knowledge of the game but she definitely stands out as a great defender out of the 2027 Class in Nebraska up until this point. She is usually good for a block of two a game, several tips/deflections, and a lot of buckets in transition while coming down the floor. If Holmes plays to her full potential moving forward over the next three seasons, she is someone that will be making her mark on any floor she competes on.
