[player_tooltip player_id='502100' first='Macy' last='Comito'] is a top rated prospect out of the 2026 Class in Iowa and she is starting to receive the recognition that she deserves. Comito is playing for the [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 16U EYBL team as the starting PG and she has been everything you can ask for this Spring season. These past few months, Comito has received more interest from the collegiate level, recently receiving offers from Utah State and Belmont. Prior to this Spring season she has also been offered from some other big named schools. School such as Marquette, Green Bay, Bradley, Eastern Illinois, and a few others. If she keeps on this pace, she will end up with 20+ D1 offers before her high school career comes to an end and that's something awesome to see for someone that works as hard as she possibly can to be the best version of herself on the hardwood.

The ceiling and future potential of [player_tooltip player_id='342205' first='Jayla' last='Williams'] of Ankeny High School is what really attracts collegiate recruiters. Williams is an extremely athletic and versatile guard, that can produce at almost any spot on the floor. She is currently ranked at #2 in her Class throughout Iowa but she will have the chance to take over that #1 spot over the next two years if she can polish up her offensive play style. That says something when you consider that the player in front of her is a Top 20 Prospect in the country in the 2026 Class at the moment. As of most recent, Williams has received offers from Belmont, Harvard, and Colorado the past few weeks. She currently sits with around 13 D1 offers and that list is only going to grow as we get into the month of July later this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='311354' first='Kelli' last='Storck'] is going to end up being a solid producer at the D3 level wherever she ends up. This past few months, Storck's recruitment has been heating up with a few offers from programs around the Midwest at the D3 level, while also receiving some interest from other D2 and NAIA programs. Storck is someone with great size, great strength to accompany that size, and she understands her balance/coordination near the rim. She is fierce while attacking her defender and she understands when to counter whenever she is cut off in the lane. All in all, she is going to be someone that helps you in bursts and doesn't really hurt you too much at the next level. She will have to find the correct fit and her niche on the team but if she can do that, she is going to like how her future plays out on the basketball court I think.

This AAU season [player_tooltip player_id='671465' first='Claire' last='Lueken'] is competing with her Iowa Dream 2025 team and they are did really well this past few months for the Spring season. This comes to no surprise. Prior to this year we said that every prospect on this team might get a shot to compete at the collegiate level before their basketball careers come to a close and that's looking like what is going to unfold for the most part. This past week Lueken took a visit and got an offer to McKendree University to play following her high school career. This may be her first big time offer but I don't imagine that it's going to be her last. She is someone with better than average size and a physical demeanor to pair with it while being calculated. I'm sure that she will have more suitors before everything is said and done over these next few months of AAU ball.

A term that I always use when it comes to recruiting is "the flood gates." I use this term in the meaning that once a player gets an offer to compete at the next level, there is a good chance that other schools will hear about it and then they will throw their hat in the ring to try and scoop up that prospect. Well [player_tooltip player_id='582830' first='Lynnae' last='Green'] of Shenandoah High School might have that happen over the next few months. This past week she received an offer to compete with D2 Augustana out of South Dakota. This is her first major offer and I'm curious what other interest it's going to bring. Every D3/NAIA school around Iowa should have already been on Green as a recruit but I'm interested to see what other programs may try to reach out to her in the near future from other parts of the country. She certainly has the determination to compete at the next level, now it's all about finding the appropriate fit.

A prospect that we are going to hear about quite a lot moving forward is someone that would be considered a hidden gem in the 2025 Class in Iowa and that is [player_tooltip player_id='873166' first='Sophia' last='McCullough']. McCullough checks off a lot of boxes that college coaches look at while recruiting a future prospect. She is a player with better than average size at 6'0, she moves well from inside to outside the lane depending on her team's offense, she can defend multiple positions, and she is coordination with great balance and a soft touch on the basketball near the paint. She may play for some smaller programs but I'm sure she is going to make an impact at the next level. Throughout these past few months, she has received offers from Simpson, Buena Vista, and Loras with interest from several others. I know she has some visits coming up so it'll be interesting to see who lands her. Whoever it is, they are getting someone who could be a breakout producer at the next level.
