About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I give 110% on the court. I am a team player and will always step up when my team needs me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m very competitive. I’m always trying to become a better basketball player everytime I’m on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I always make sure everyone on me team is happy and never down on themselves. I make sure we work as a team and not individually.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the hardest challenges i faced is stepping up to be a leader when I didn’t know how to be one at the time. Being a leader is a big responsibility and leading ur team is even harder.

What type of college are you looking for?

Bossick hit a couple really nice triples that I saw this weekend. She was pass ready and hit a catch and shoot 3 in rhythm. Bossick also hit a buzzer beating triple later in the day.

Bossick ran the floor in transition and fought hard on the offensive glass, giving her team scoring opportunities. She is not afraid to take contact attacking the rim and earned many trips to the free-throw line. She has sneaky, good hands on D and poked the ball loose or came away with a steal numerous times. Ava had a solid overall performance at The Freshman Showcase.
