Ava is another player on our rankings watch list who I’d love to see at The Expo. When I watched her at the PGH Freshman Showcase, she showed a willingness to run the floor, battle on the offensive glass, and attack the basket through contact. She also made an impact defensively with active hands that helped create turnovers. Ava showed several qualities that caught my attention, and I’d love another opportunity to watch her compete and see where her game is now as we continue evaluating players for our rankings.

Bossick hit a couple really nice triples that I saw this weekend. She was pass ready and hit a catch and shoot 3 in rhythm. Bossick also hit a buzzer beating triple later in the day.

Bossick ran the floor in transition and fought hard on the offensive glass, giving her team scoring opportunities. She is not afraid to take contact attacking the rim and earned many trips to the free-throw line. She has sneaky, good hands on D and poked the ball loose or came away with a steal numerous times. Ava had a solid overall performance at The Freshman Showcase.
