MBCA Classic- Seneca Valley vs Oakland Mills Top Performers

Oakland Mills fell behind early in the game but staged a late rally that came up just short. Her range provided spacing for her teammates, and she made some good decisions when she got chased off the line. She attacked the basket aggressively and collapsed the defense, which led to open shots for her teammates. She made some nice passes when she wasn't able to score herself. She showed off her range with three triples and played solid defense on the perimeter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jayden Addison, Seneca Valley, 2026, Point Guard</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jayden set the tone early with physical defense and a couple of first quarter buckets. She looked to get her teammates involved while doing a little bit of everything. She is athletic and strong and shows a lot of potential as a lead guard. She has good upper body strength and quickness which helps her finish in the paint. She ended the game with four 3 pointers, so she has range on her shot as well. I think she'll be in play for Howard County player of the year if she really focuses on getting more shots in the mid-range and getting to the line. She canned two threes on her way to 13 points. She also showed that she can put the ball on the floor and finish in traffic when necessary.
