Gonzalez grabbed my attention while she was still in elementary school with the special formula I use. She did things instinctively, reacted well in certain situations, and did this against older players. She’s doing a better job at controlling the tempo and running her team; her court vision has shot up, so has her ballhandling, crossover looked good. She scored off the dribble and from outside, yet she’s showing good upside

Gonzalez is handling the pressure being applied to her better and since the game starts at the 1, that’s huge. She understands the game and is setting her teammates up better for easy looks but she’s also showing she can not only attack and dish but finish after contact. Her defense is also getting better, both in the set as well as full court, and her upside is still high

Gonzalez sold me in the 5th or 6th grade while playing up so it was no surprise to me that she handled the pressure admirably. She made good decisions, she hit her teammates at the right time and she stayed under control, against some of the best heat in the state. Solid upside

#35-Gonzalez was still in the 6th grade when I caught her a couple of years ago see evaluation here and then again a year later see evaluation here yet with a very nice skillset and understanding of how to control the tempo and handle the heat, she has a lot of upside

Gonzalez sold me as a 6th grader playing up and her skillset coupled with her BB-IQ told me she was going up in a short span of time. Her deceptive first step coupled with the HEZ gets the defender off balance and allows her to score or dish off the dribble yet her court vision across the board is good. She also did a good defending “on the ball” both in the half and full-court
