The end of the summer season and all its circuits is nearing an end. Some players have grabbed a tremendous amount of interest and scholarship offers. Some have gathered some interest and are hoping the offers come in soon. Some have been overlooked or under recruited for different reasons. Here are a few prospects that fall into these categories.

[player_tooltip player_id='888806' first='Caryne' last='Nelson'], [program_tooltip program_id='712942' first='Team' last='Takeover'], Mt. Carmel, 2025 Wing

Caryne is probably the most versatile player on this list. She's long and athletic and will be a plug and play prospect for whoever lands her. I think she's being under recruited for what she brings to the court. At 5'11" she can guard multiple positions, handle the ball, make shots and crash the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='565885' first='Destiny' last='Macharia'], GLP, Oakland Mills, 2025 Guard

Strong guard with three level scoring ability. She has good size and great upper body strength. She's capable of doing some facilitating but two guard is her best position.

Jnyia Weaver, [program_tooltip program_id='714374' first='Havoc' last='City Elite'], Mt. Zion, 2025 Guard

Jnyia is a scoring machine that pretty much gets wherever she wants to go on the court. She has left a trail of scoring outbursts all over the DMV over the past couple of years. She does most of her damage by blowing by defenders and getting to the basket, but if you back off she will show you her range from past the three-point line. She's a professional scorer and will immediately get buckets for whatever school lands her.

[player_tooltip player_id='538907' first='Amya' last='Goodsell'], [program_tooltip program_id='712942' first='Team' last='Takeover'], Mt. Carmel, 2025 Guard

Versatile guard with length and quickness. She has a good handle and range out to the 3-point line. She has really worked on her defense and has all the necessary tools to be a lock down defender at the next level. She has a good feel for the game and doesn't force things.

[player_tooltip player_id='930959' first='Anaiya' last='Morrison'], [program_tooltip program_id='714374' first='Havoc' last='City Elite'], Gwynn Park, 2025 Guard

Slick scoring guard with exceptional speed and nice package of spin moves. She has a good handle and can break defenders down off the dribble. She is a long range bomber and is especially dangerous from the corners. She is a scrappy defender and always competes at a high level.
