The rugged and grizzly scout is back from vacation and excited to add five ranked Kansas prospects to the Coverage Club.

Here is a look at five ranked athletes overdue for some individual attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='459216' first='Katie' last='Linenberger'], 6'0”, PF, Hays, ‘25

Linenberger was last featured in December. She is currently ranked No. 51 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas and is the ninth-ranked power forward. She is a dual-sport athlete who brings a basket full of versatility to both sports. She is a solid defensive player in the paint. I saw her play volleyball this summer at the MO/KAN Top 10 at Washburn. I liked her reach and athleticism on the volleyball court. She is a physical athlete who can block shots. She uses her quick feet to get in good defensive position.

[player_tooltip player_id='822625' first='Lailah' last='Austin'], 5'7”, PG, Olathe North, ‘25

Austin is currently ranked No. 58 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. She has not been featured since January. While I have not seen her play in person I was impressed with her shooting ability in her HUDL highlights. She scored 5.5 points per game and averaged one assist per contest as a junior. I would like to see her improve her play on the defensive end and look to push the ball more. Austin did not shoot from deep often as a junior but did convert 19-of-50 shots from 3-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='424599' first='Hudson' last='Welsh'], 5'7”, SG, St. Thomas Aquinas, ‘26

Welsh is currently ranked No. 40 overall in the class of 2026 by Prep Girls Hoops. This is the first time she is being featured in a PGH scouting report. I watched video from her club season, and she has a sweet jump shot. She can score from behind the arc at any angle. I would expect her scoring at Aquinas to continue to increase.

[player_tooltip player_id='822714' first='Kinley' last='Christopher'], 6'0”, SF, Basehor-Linwood, ‘26

The Bobcat prospect has an impactful game in the paint. She is long and jumps well. She has impressive touch around the glass and works hard for rebounds. Christopher is currently ranked No. 58 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='836264' first='Ashley' last='Kramer'], 55”, SG, Shawnee Mission South, ‘27

Kramer helped the Raiders win a state championship last season and her club team took first place at the Run For The Roses this month. She is an excellent three-point shooter who cashes in when she gets open looks. She runs the floor in transition and plays solid defense.
