Welsh was a key role player for the Class 5A State Champion Saints. Although she was not the primary scorer for Aquinas, she was always a threat to score and understood her role in the offense. She made crisp passes and wise decisions on the court. She will be playing club ball for MOKAN.

A excellent 3 pointer shooter that moves without the ball always open for the kick out. Understands good spacing of offense lifting or drifting to the corner to keep open the driving lanes. Made good decisions on the drives when ran off the 3 point line. Good vision and handles in the open floor advancing the ball with a pass. A very scrappy defender that will get on the floor to gain possession.
A player that I will be following this season to see where she commits to play after high school.
