Milord was getting buckets all weekend for Team Elite Hubbard, especially knocking down shots from the perimeter with her smooth southpaw stroke. She really was hot from the wings down to the corners on both sides of the court on offense. Milord doesn’t not need a lot of time or space to get her shot off and when she had clean looks she knocked down the majority of her open shots from outside. As the tournament went on, Aaleanna was able to get into the painted area and score from the midrange hitting jumpers from 10-12 feet and getting to the basket and finishing through contact. Milord was also very good on defense jumping into the passing lane and creating steals or causing deflections in the games I saw her play.

Aaleanna got hot in the fourth quarter as she sparked a late rally for Milton against Holy Innocents’. Milord cashed in from deep twice, hitting a corner three in crunch time. Milord forced a turnover and scored in transition off a steal. The sophomore finished with 8 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 2 steals. Milord’s strong build and lethal outside shot will draw plenty of college attention over the course of her career.

Productive off the catch and shoot. She made the difficult corner 3 look easy. Not easily fazed by pressure D. She set some tough screen up top and roll to the basket fluidly.

Milord hit the game tying 3 ball to send game 1 to overtime. A player not afraid to let it fly but also get to the rim. Great size which allows her to play all positions on the floor. Excellent rebounder.
