[player_tooltip player_id='582829' first='Adriana' last='Howard'] of Centerville High School is going to look back at her high school career and be amazed at some of the numbers she averaged throughout her time during high school. As of most recent, Howard averaged 15.5 PPG as a Junior on the Varsity floor, while also grabbing right around 14 RPG at the same time. This number led the state of Iowa in the 3A Class last Winter, behind only one other prospect that happens to be D1 committed in another sport for the collegiate level. Howard should put up big numbers one more time throughout her high school career but we will just have to see how everything's play out.

Whenever we mention West Marshall High School, we talk about their productive guard play but someone that has stood out for her rebounding ability is 5'11 Forward, Lily Zahnd. Zahnd grabbed 11.1 RPG last Winter, placing her in the Top 10 of the 3A Class in RPG. This Winter the West Marhall Trojans are going to return their main producers from a year ago, while also having Zahnd's rebounding ability at their disposal. If they build what they set in place a year ago, they should have a Winter to remember from an individual standpoint and a team standpoint as well.

We have never had a chance to evaluate and highlight the play-style of [player_tooltip player_id='788576' first='Elliot' last='Ennis'] of Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School but that changes right now. Ennis comes in standing at 6'1, she is relentless rebounder for her size, and she understands what she does best compared to what everyone else does well around her. To be a productive prospect at any level and on any team, you MUST have some self-awareness and Ennis demonstrates that, while also being someone that can really board at a high rate. As a Junior, she averaged a double-double in Points and Rebounds with 12 PPG/11.1 RPG. For her Senior year, she will look to put up identical numbers as she tries to help her team win some tough contests. If she comes in and plays to her strengths, results will follow. That's how it's gone the past three years so it shouldn't be any difference this time around.

One of the tallest and more interesting Forwards out of Iowa in the 2027 Class is [player_tooltip player_id='988388' first='Keira' last='McCormick'] of Waukon High School. McCormick is a 6'2 prospect, that put up noteworthy numbers during her Freshman Campaign, averaging 14.5 PPG and 9.9 RPG. This is not only one of the highest PPG and RPG averages throughout the 2027 prospects in Iowa but throughout the entire state and the 3A Class. McCormick has a bright future on the court. If she sticks with in and expands her abilities over-time, she is going to be a monster by the time she gets to being an upperclassman.

Van Meter High School is one of those schools out of the 3A Class that just never goes away. Every Winter, they might not start off their season on the hottest note but they ended in being a top ranking team out of their Class, like it's clockwork. One of their Senior leaders this upcoming season, that will be vital in their success is Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='842626' first='Teya' last='Speltz']. Speltz is not only an important rebounder for this group, she is also someone that gets her hands on a ton of tips/deflections defensively and that helps her team get important stops throughout the duration of a ball game. This is one of their Seniors that is going to run into the season with a lot of responsibility but Speltz wouldn't have it any other way. She is always up for a challenge and that just shows how much of a competitor she really is.
