I hadn't seen the 17U E40 this season so I had a chance to catch them a couple of times during the event. [player_tooltip player_id='1002982' first='Camille' last='Torrence'] recently made my New Faces from the event as I knew absolutely nothing about her but how about [player_tooltip player_id='922320' first='Rhianna' last='Deleon'] who was SPECTACULAR dropping the long ball as I ran out of fingers counting how many she dropped. I'm going to take a look at other talented players from the team who I hadn't seen in a minute

Jackson gave me my first look over a year ago at the Houston Summer Slam and fell into that #talentiseverywhere if you know what you're looking at group yet Houston is big and Texas is BIGGER so she happened to be one of those players I knew nothing about because if you're not where I am or rosters are not provided, it happens. Nevertheless, she showed it was not a mirage as her energy on both ends stood out to go along with her jumper but to go along with everything else, her court vision was a huge plus

Oyakhire goes after the ball off the rim like there is no tomorrow and that alone gets the #THROWBACK hashtag. I mentioned that recently back in June when she was added to the Top 100 yet her intensity on both ends had her in the "never takes a play off" group

Semmler impressed me before high school with her skill set as well as mindset and her "hands and footwork" to score around the basket, with either hand, immediately stood out, yeah that too is #THROWBACK as well as something I don't see enough of. What she has done is move from a back to the basket player to show that she can face the basket and drop the mid to long-range jumper as well as score off the dribble, plus she plays the passing lane

Castillo is one of the youngest #D1Locks I've ever called joining Brooke McCarty as well as my daughter to fall into that not even 10 years old group. I don't fabricate, I keep receipts, and if you read and comprehend after using the search bar, you can easily see. Her EXPLOSIVENESS gave defenders problems as she blew by players with ease yet her acrobatic finishes as well as her court vision were nice, as well as her "on the ball" pressure

Ogbevire's explosiveness also stood out and I hadn't realized how long it had been since I saw her the last time, again this is a huge city filled with a variety of platforms and some players I just don't see. I barely saw her as she blazed down the sideline to score however she wanted, her first step in the set as well as in the open court was a problem. She dropped the jumper with a hand in her face, she saw the floor, and her "on the ball" pressure was solid yet watching her play the passing lane JUST DID IT for me
