In the "3 on 3", she set it off by starting it off and showing she could score however she wanted to see evaluation here . But when the bright lights came on, she gave even more, and her handling the ball and seeing the floor, both under pressure were solid, so was her "on the ball" pressure as well as playing the passing lane

Bankett was one of many athletic guards who used their athleticism on both ends of the court yet observing her playing defense during the "3 on 3" games, she stood out because of the intensity she brought off the top. She was tuned in and her halfcourt pressure created some problems, quick hands, and feet were part of it. When the games began, the heat stayed hot and she showed baseline-to-baseline pressure and created havoc which led to turnovers. Her turnaround jumper dropped the mic during the "3 on 3" yet her upside is scary, not for me but for defenders as she made the All-Showcase team see evaluation here

Jones falls into that #sizedontmatter group I've been hashtagging for over a decade and since she can play, that's an added plus. Here's another one since I'm adding, she's a "long and athletic" guard, which is also the base, and her pressure defense both in the set as well as baseline to baseline was on full display. She also has a nice first step and that, along with solid body control, showed me she could finish after contact. She dropped the short jumper and saw the floor

King had me thinking I was seeing double yet she and her sister were double trouble at the event. Layla is heady, under control, plays within herself, and is poised under pressure so when you have all that, everything else will fall into place. Speak of falling, she dropped the jumper and scored off the dribble yet her court vision coupled with decision-making was solid, as was her defense

TEAM 6

Sanchez was yet another #sizedontmatter guard I caught who just went hard as soon as she stepped on the floor, warm-up included. Her baseline-to-baseline pressure was solid and that, as well as her quick hands, helped to create turnovers. She also scored and dished off the dribble, her court vision in the set as well as in transition was also nice and she did a good job of dropping the jumper, mid to long-range

Graves was one of the TOP PERFORMERS in both the "3 on 3" and the "5 on 5" and being "long and athletic" immediately caught my attention and her TIMING to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots kept it. She also played the passing lane and scored off the dribble, all of that before fullcourt. She went AFTA everything off the rim, her first step was explosive and she elevated over defenders to score, both off the dribble and around the basket, with either hand. She also made good decisions and looked for the best shot, either from her or her teammates

Crudup is becoming a Tip Sheet waiting to happen and her improvement in certain aspects spells "BIG THINGS ARE COMING" in caps, but NO CAP. She's "long and athletic" and just shy of "the magic number" and being a guard, that alone will attract next-level coaches. She stood out during the "3 on 3" games, see evaluation here and showed her versatility by going coast to coast to score or drop the stop and pop but her court vision in transition also needs to be mentioned, as well as her defense

Dallas' club coach told me about her in the 6th grade and I said "Bro, I have to see her for myself" and every chance that I got to catch her, she showed me he was right. She made the All Showcase squad, she's one of the Top Freshman, not only in Texas but the country, and let me drop this one on you, her ceiling has no roof see evaluation here

Lausser showed me early that I was in for a treat with her turnaround jumper during "3 on 3". She uses a deceptive first step to get the defender off balance and attack the basket to score, using nice body control and finishing after contact. She also creates her shot, as well as spacing, under pressure, and not only did she drop the midrange, but her 3-ball, either the pull-up or the "catch and shoot" were both nice. She also saw the floor and played solid defense

Bryant brought plenty of heat defensively both in the set as well as baseline to baseline and her being fearless on both ends had me smiling because she was another #sizedontmatter guard who showed me she could flat-out play. Her court vision across the board was solid, she handled the ball under pressure and made good decisions yet she also showed she could score off the dribble and drop the jumper

Hatcher showed me a lot on both ends and her being in that #sizedntmatter group didn't matter at all. She was up for whatever/whoever was thrown at her to defend and her energy as well as pressure baseline to baseline never let up. She's heady and makes good decisions, plus she understands how to "control the tempo". Her court vision was nice, and crisp on the money passes in traffic, and she scored off the dribble

Hashbarger stood out during the 3 on 3 and I mentioned she played taller than her listed height see evaluation here but standing above "the magic number" with her array of intangibles will create plenty of next-level buzz as her "on the court" progression continues. Yeah, the "hands and footwork" continued to create problems, she also rebounded and got the outlet going but here's a huge plus. Not only did she defend inside the paint, but she also showed she could guard her man outside of it

Standouts galore from these two teams as many showed what was coming during the "3 on 3" games yet the group as a whole from the event showed so many players with next-level potential and I can't wait to see the "on the court" progression
