Guidry falls into that #sizedontmatter group, and when you can play as she does, it truly doesn’t matter, as her poise under pressure, willingness to take the clutch shot, as well as her decision making, are just some of her intangibles, yet the numerous Tip Sheets she has made from me as well as @playerrimidies paints a pitcha see evaluations here

Guidry continues to elevate her game as she elevates on her jumper, and on the most recent update, she was a STOCK RISER, see evaluations here . She’s implemented the slight HEZ to get the defender off balance, yet her pull-up jumper, as well as her “stop and pop” are both nice and effective. Her body control on her finishes, and her defense was solid

#55 up from #57 Guidry continues to show “on the court” progression, and yes, she falls into that #sizedontmatter group, but when you can play, it doesn’t matter, and she’s shown that on both ends of the court see evaluations here

Guidry is showing even more explosiveness off the dribble, and that, coupled with power, as she attacked the basket, looked good, especially after seeing her finish strongly after contact, body control played a part in that as well. She hustled on both ends; her “on the ball” pressure was sometimes smothering and helped create turnovers. She created her shot but she also created contact and seeing her drop the “stop and pop” from deep had me smiling

Guidry shows the “IT” factor in her game and when you’re an athletic guard who uses your athleticism on both ends while staying under control, you’re ahead of the game. At the PGH Freshman Showcase, she gave me a glimpse of what was coming during the 3X3 games see evaluation here and her ability to “catch and shoot also set it off during the playoffs see evaluation here

Guidry was hard to handle defensively and watching her attack to score off the dribble was nice yet even nicer was watching her drop the long ball multiple times. She not only got it off while being defended, but her “catch and shoot” was smooth and fluid yet her FLOATA in between was solid, as was her court vision

Guidry was written about by my colleague @playerrimedies last week see evaluation here and she gave me a glimpse of what’s coming at the PGH Freshman Showcase see evaluation here and everything I said I stand by except for her “on the ball” defense. I called it solid, it’s more than solid and it appears she gets a kick out of frustrating the offensive player with pressure and THAT is something you can’t teach

3 point shooter. Guidry’s sweet spot seems to be the corner pocket and she consistently runs the floor and spots up in the corner spot to stretch the defense. She understands her role in the full court press and is able to rip the ball out of the opponent’s hands in the trap. Then she shows off her athleticism by getting out in transition and attacking the basket. On the defensive end, Guidry sprints back and times it just right to get up and block transition buckets.

Guidry showed me she could score multiple ways during the “3 on 3” and her elevating her game since I caught her earlier in the season had me smiling. She made that “Catch and Shooters” article see evaluation here showed it wasn’t a mirage during the “5 on 5” but more like a barrage as she can knock “em” down quickly. She saw the floor, continued to score off the dribble, and played solid “on-the-ball” defense

Kailey could easily align with standout shooters with her own elite level long range dagger of a shot. She’s an assasin that requires minimal space. Guidry continuously put herself and her teammates in positions to be a bucket. Guidry has the potential to be an immediate impact player, she’ll make an excellent compliment to the rising class of guards at Manvel.
