You ever been around someone who just exudes confidence. Maybe it is how they walk or how they talk. Either way, it's how they carry themselves and it just seems they are on top of the world. When I think about this 2025 class, I am not saying they are on top of the world or have it all, but what I am saying is they are a bunch of confident young ladies who are tough on the basketball floor. Up and down this class, the 2025s are just different. I mean I would want to go to battle with any of them. Each with their own unique skill sets, bring something special to the table. They are vets when it comes to this high school game and I just enjoy watching them work at their craft.

Speaking of craft, a lot of these girls have learned the different nuances of the game. That's what makes it so exciting. Case in point, how to set up a defender as they come off a screen or maybe how to make a defender play on their heels while they do this particular counter move. There are so many different little games within the game that these young ladies heave learned over the years that just puts the a step above everyone else. Eventually this same info on how they work will be passed down to other classes. Until then, understand these girls in the 2025 class are the big dogs on campus and will hold the title throughout this year.

As the 2025 class suit up for one more season, please note that these girls plan to go out with a bang. They are on a mission to capture accolades, district and state titles, and so much more. They plan to leave their legacy/ mark on their prospective programs and leave the school better than when they first started. This year will be a good one for sure. Without a doubt I know there will be some surprises along with kids who are going to take their team over the mountain top. Until now, we just have to imagine, but come November, you better believe things will become a reality.

[player_tooltip player_id='409035' first='Channah' last='Gannon'] (6'4/Sr./C/ Coffee Co.)- Tough nosed ball player who will be joining her sister at Southern Indiana. Offensively, this kid can step out on the arc and shoot it, but around the painted area, she is golden. Can play back to the basket and dominate. Can be used in the screen game, where she can knock down elbow shots and short corner shots. Defensively, she is the anchor in the middle where she grabs boards, blocks shots, and makes it tough for opponents to operate down low. She will look to take her CCHS ball club back to state this season. This kid is super talented and will be a force one more year on hardwoods around the state of Tennessee.

[player_tooltip player_id='366664' first='Lyriq' last='Mastin'] (5'6/Sr./PG/ Blackman)- Wings up! The Tennessee Tech commit is ready to blaze a trail her last go round. Continuing a long legacy of phenomenal PGs from Blackman, Lyriq is ready to do work this upcoming season. A 3 level scoring threat who is very shifty with the ball in her hands. Has amazing court vision, can get downhill with ease and finish at the rim, and most importantly, lock up on the defensive end. This kid is solid and will look to regain the crown and take Blackman back to state contention.

[player_tooltip player_id='425322' first='Paige' last='Whitted'] (5'9/ Sr./G/ Briarcrest)- The Cincy Lady Bearcat commit is ready to do work. This is a rarity, but she has hooped both in the public and private school divisions and showed out. This dynamic scoring guard is hard to stop and is fearless when it comes to the game of basketball. She is always in attack mode and it doesn't matter if she is on the defensive or offensive end. A solid two-way player who just gets it done. She's a multi-level scoring threat who is poised with the basketball. She knows how to pick her spots and exploits them. Look for her to lead Briarcrest deep into the tournament this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='409039' first='Ellie' last='Graham'] (6'0/Sr./F/ Moore Co.)- An undervalued kid who is an old throwback player. Can score it from multiple spots on the floor. She can spot up on the perimeter, establish her presence down low, or attack in transition and get to a favorable spot for a jumper. She is solid on the defensive end. Active hands and feet, her length creates chaos for opponents. She is the heartbeat of a lethal Moore Co. attack, where her squad feeds off her energy. This kid has a lot of value and she brings it every time she steps onto the floor. She plays each possession like its her last. Contributing in every statistical category, this kid is someone who can change the outcome of a game. A heady ball player who will be a major pick up for a program at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='506234' first='Leilani' last='Washington'] (5'8/Sr./CG/ Nolensville)- A super talented kid who is still unsigned. This combo guard is shifty and is fun to watch. A 3 level scoring threat, she can pull it from the arc and slice through gaps and finish at the rim. She can cross up a defender, getting a paint touch and dropping the dime off to her big. She is fast, possessing active hands and feet, she creates chaos on the defensive end where she gets steals that lead to transition buckets. She brings the energy nightly and is truly a hard working individual who is passionate about the game of basketball. This kid is stellar and any program at the next level looking for a game changer should invest in this kid. Solid two-way player who gets it done.
