Jim Dabbelt is a lifelong resident of Southwest Ohio. Synonymous with basketball in Ohio, Dabbelt is considered by the experts as the premier media source in the Buckeye state for Ohio girls’ basketball and is the longest tenured girls basketball media personality in Ohio history with 39 years.
Also from 1998-2008, Dabbelt was the Sports Editor of the New Carlisle Sun and the Enon Messenger, where he earned over 15 writing awards during his time. He is currently the Sports Editor of the Tippecanoe Gazette, covering events in and around his hometown. The past nine years, he is also is responsible for writing the Ohio High School Athletic Association state tournament preview story for the program sold at the state tournament.
Jim has also covered the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins for Pens Daily, an internet-based media outlet that has covered the Penguins during their Stanley Cup championship runs in 2016 and 2017. Angie Saiter brings over 35 years of basketball experience to Prep Girls Hoops Ohio from coaching at both the middle school and high school level, Coaching AAU with Ohio Impact, playing for Watkins Memorial High School, Muskingum University, and scouting for PGH Ohio. Angie graduated from Muskingum in 1998 with a degree in Secondary Education and History, and earned a Master's degree in Special Education from Muskingum in 2002. Angie has a high passion for girls basketball, with the mission to recognize and help young ladies who want to play at the next level. Angie has contributed to Prep Girls Hoops Ohio since April, 2020 and currently lives in Plain City, OH.
