Aliyah showed great hustle and resilience, after turning the ball over, she quickly got back on defense and blocked the shot, refusing to give up on the play. She saw the floor well, consistently looked to make the extra pass, and took advantage of scoring opportunities when they were there. Aliyah thrived in an up-tempo style, doing a great job of reading the defense and making smart decisions on whether to dish it off or finish the play herself.

Aaliyah was another one of favorites at the Expo. Her game against Team 2 was a sight to see. She did a good job penetrating the defense and kicking it out to open shooters. She also knocked down two 3-pointers in the game.

Big-time shot creator and a 3 level scoring threat that can completely takeover the game on offense. She can do damage off the dribble, very good one on one player that can knock down 3’s and get to the cup. She also gets after it on defense and loves playing passing lanes to come up with steals. Aaliyah thrives off of fast breaks buckets as well.

played extremely well at the Spooky Nook UA Rise tournament this past weekend. She knocked down a ton of 3’s, was very effective of the bounce, and did a phenomenal job creating contact that led to trips to the free throw line, where she capitalized very often. Aaliyah played her best against IGB Rise Epps, her team was shorthanded so she stepped up in a major way and became a vocal leader on the floor. She played tough defense, crashed the glass, got others involved, and finished with a team-high 28 points. Aaliyah showed good sportsmanship throughout the tournament as well.
