She posted 19 points, four rebounds, and seven steals against Paul Laurence Dunbar, showcasing her impact on both ends of the floor. Baird followed that up with an even bigger outing against Tates Creek, finishing with 24 points and six rebounds while shooting an efficient 56 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range. Alyiah Baird Alyiah Baird 5'9" | SG/PG Henry Clay | 2027 State KY averaged 6.7 points per game in her sophomore season for the Lady Commodores. With good size and a long wingspan, she possesses excellent shooting mechanics, demonstrating a perfect form and a repeatable release. Beyond her perimeter shooting, she can put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim or with floaters in the lane. She is a really good passer and is steadily improving as a defender.

She can attack off the dribble and has a marvelous float game. Alyiah is a solid on-ball defender with good lateral movement and she uses her long arms to rip away steals. Alyiah loves to compete and works really hard at improving her game. I think she will make a leap in her sophomore season for the Lady Commodores. (Featured Image)

Good hesitation moves to the rim. Long and athletic with good baseline moves. Solid handles and is able to defend multiple positions. Good range and able to knock down the three. Good catch and shoot player.
