Aaliyah was at Lawrence Central a year ago, then she transferred to Park Tudor before this season and had a fantastic Winter as one of their top stat producers. Aaliyah is a long, wiry, quick, fast, and explosive athlete. She moves well in all directions, and she does a nice job of using her physical abilities to create separation and get open. She does a nice job of running the lanes in transition as well. She can shoot/score it from all three levels, but she’s best off the dribble. Defensively, she has a ton of upside due to her ability, she’ll just need to continue tightening her skillset.

Aaliyah Wilson Aaliyah Wilson 5'8" | SG Park Tudor High School | 2028 State IN is better than where she’s currently ranked and continues to prove that with her play. She does a great job of being strong with the basketball, attacking the rim with confidence, and finishing through contact. Her physicality and control allow her to be effective against pressure and in traffic.

Offensively, she shows a good understanding of how to get to her spots and create quality looks for herself. She’s comfortable stepping into perimeter shots, especially in transition where she can capitalize on defensive breakdowns. Her ability to play downhill while also being a threat from the outside makes her tough to guard.

This past weekend, she backed it up with a 20-point performance, showing her ability to produce when given the opportunity. The Park Tudor guard is trending in the right direction and has the tools to make a lot of noise this AAU season, while continuing to put herself firmly on the radar for college programs.

She has a really smooth shot from the perimeter, good length and talented player who can not only defend the perimeter, but also protect the paint. Has good range, not afraid to let it fly from behind the arc.

Paired with fellow rookie LeAnah Hyatt LeAnah Hyatt 5'8" | SG Lawrence Central | 2028 State IN at Lawrence Central, the two form a nice, young backcourt that will have an opportunity to learn and grow a lot this season before it’s their turn. Aaliyah is extremely long, wiry, fluid, and quick. She has some creativity off the bounce, she can create her own shot, but she can also find teammates. She is a problem in passing lanes defensively, but she can also sit down and defend the ball effectively.
