To start off this article we talked about Avery Nichols Avery Nichols 5'6" | PG Brownell Talbot | 2026 State NE at Brownell Talbot High School. Another player that is also from the same high school, who has put up some numbers this 2023-2024 season is Abbi Gibbs Abbi Gibbs 5'8" | CG Brownell Talbot | 2026 NE . As Nichols plays the Shooting Guard role, Gibbs is her teams starting 3 or Combo Guard on the floor. Gibbs is more of a Swiss army knife type player. She has the ability to play the 1-3 positions at the high school level at the moment, making her versatile in a few different ways. Throughout her teams first four games this season, Gibbs is averaging 8.3 PPG, 8 RPG, 2 APG, and 3.7 SPG. As you can see, Gibbs does it all for her team and whenever they have some success, you can tell that she has something to do with it. Looking at the big picture, it looks like Gibbs is not only a producer on the hardwood but a competitor on the soccer pitch as well. It’ll be interesting at the end of her career, which sport she will ride with into college. Either way, I’m sure she is going to have success.
