Myers rebounds like a forward for 4A contenders Kingfisher. She also is a super effective 15 and feet in player. Hits shimmies and other moves to drain turn around jumpers around the rim. Finishes well through contact around the rim. Already has a game winner on her resume when she raced down the court and hit a free throw line runner to beat Destiny Christian in late January. Expect more heroics from Myers with the stakes high. Rather it be more clutch scoring, a big rebound, going for a loose ball or a clutch defensive play.

Myers is Miss Midrange for Kingfisher. From 15 feet and in, she is seemingly automatic. Has a trusty turn around jumper she employs, along with more great mid-range shooting and finishing around the rim. In the tournament championship of the Buckle of the Wheatbelt, she got the Lady Yellowjackets off to a hot start. And never looked back as she led squad to the title on their home floor. Kingfisher is currently ranked 6th in 4A. And will look to Myers for more clutch scoring as they aim for a second straight trip to the Class 4A State Tournament.

Had a terrific start to the tournament, with 14 against Howe, 21 in semi’s against Keys. Finished with a solid 5, 6, and 3 in the finals. Good all-around game. Has a nice pull-up shot.

Kingfisher’s most consistent player over the last two days. Has been tough as nails around the basket and operating in the mid-range. Patient and never rushed with the ball in her hands, seems to always find that split second opening from the defense to get her shot off. Rebounds very well on the offensive end too. Strong scorer and gritty guard for a Kingfisher team with expectations to make it back to the Class 4A State Tournament.

Let’s put a spotlight on a popular name for regional colleges. Since AAU season wrapped up, Myers has posted offers from McPherson and Southwestern colleges in Kansas. It’s easy to see why, as she has next level size, athleticism and a huge wingspan. Those traits give her the versatilely to rebound and play around the rim. While also being capable of handling it and shooting like a perimeter prospect.
Myers was a key part of a Kingfisher squad that fought through a tough Class 4A for a State Tournament appearance. They were sent home in the first round, but with the senior’s ability to score in the mid-range, the Lady Yellowjackets will be looking to go a step or two further this winter. Expect Myers’ senior urgency to be a defining trait for a top 8 team in Class 4A.

Abbie very consist ant player for her Team Trae Young squad. A player that played every position on the court. Very scrappy tough defender that guarded the other teams post player most of the tournament.

Abbie played every position on the court of her team Saturday. She defended the post with her quickness able to get around the much larger post. On offense she used her height to be a tall point to pass over the pressure defense. Abbie can stretch the floor with her 3 point shot ability. The pull up jumper has good lift and the high release makes it hard for the taller defender to block. A very scrappy type player that goes all out for the loose rebound. A possible double double every time she plays

and her work ethic on the basketball court. Myers is someone that I featured a little bit to kick off the weekend but her past few days at this event were impressive to say the least. Myers is a lengthy guard, with a nice skill-set. She has good size, she can playing multiple positions on the offensive end of the floor while producing, and she can defend opponents that are bigger or smaller than her on the defensives side of things. On multiple occasions this weekend, Myers was the best prospect on the floor and it wasn’t necessarily close. She demonstrated that she can really do it all at her position over everyone that was trying to get in her way and that speaks volumes to who she is as a prospect. The
Team Trae Young
2025 Thompson squad has some ballers and Myers stood out as their best during this event. If she keeps up this momentum, there are a handful of colleges out there that would be lucky to get their hands on her down the road.

Abbie Myer is a someone to know from the Team Trae Young 2026 Thompson squad. This is an individual that absolutely dominated her matchups throughout the day and especially in her team’s first contest on Saturday. Myer has size, she moves well with her length, and she is an offensive weapon. To kick things off in game one, she won the jump ball to start the contest, a moment later she drove it all the way to the rack for a bucket, than the very next play she came down the floor and gave a nasty assist to an open teammate that was sitting underneath the basket. From there she basically went on to dominate the whole game at a high level, helping her team pull out a victory in the end. This 2026 Thompson group has some ballers. They have 3/4 prospects that we are going to hear about over the next few days because of their production and fundamental play-styles. If they compete as a team and continue to work hard, the sky is the limit for this group in more ways than one.

The sophomore has a huge wingspan and puts it to use on the defensive end as a rebounder and playing the passing lanes. Myers flashed strong defensive instincts with how she reads plays while playing off the ball defense. Along with deflections to disrupt the flow of the offense, she also recorded steals where she quickly turned defense into offense. When given opportunities on the offensive end she was efficient, including hitting a corner three. And helped the Lady Yellowjackets continue to pour it on in the second half, when she had a strong And 1 finish after her team broke the press.
