Hartman is collecting small school offers, while also holding D1 interest. UCO offered over the winter, Oklahoma City and Harding joined the race this spring and more are sure to come. The possibility for D1s to enter the picture after a productive July is on the table. Because she’s grown to a legit 6 foot and has shown this spring she can impact winning without the ball.
Has always been an eager defender, making the most of her athletic gifts with a hard nosed playing style. Literally, as she battled through a broken nose to help Kingfisher to the Class 4A State Tournament. While she’ll have to carry a bigger offense burden for the Lady Yellowjackets this upcoming season. Her grassroots experience could hold the ticket to the next level. All the traits are there for Hartman to become an elite on the ball defender, who can cover multiple positions along then perimeter. The talent and desire is there, now it’s about adding attention to detail and discipline to better cover top tier guards without fouling.

Tough ending to an impressive sophomore year leap. Some of Hartman’s growth was on display with drives to the rim. Her handles have steadily improved and was able to get a few paint touches against a stingy LCS defense. Strong finishes for a skinny guard. Kingfisher also trusted her at times to bring the ball up against the pressure. There are moments she still has the gangly baby horse movements of a player still growing, but her development into a more skilled scoring guard is well under way. Player to watch this spring and summer.

Had 17pts (3-for-4 from behind the arc) and seven rebounds in the championship tilt. So much length, incredibly long strides. Will be behind the arc when a shot goes up and still comes up with the offensive rebound just because she can hunt it and go get it.

The second weekend in a row I have seen Ela play and each time she has made top of my list. The ceiling is high for this young player. She does so many things right even the little details. At 5’11 she is a long guard that can handle the ball, shoot the outside shot, and get downhill for the finish layup.
Solid defensive player that gives a coach the choice of guarding the other teams guard or small forward. You know that to play for coach Young you must know defense. 2028 that I would circle to watch this upcoming season for the Lady Jackets.

Hartman was non stop energy and left her mark in all facets of the game. Her long arms seemed to always lead to “stocks” and of course grabbing boards. Even often being first to the floor for loose balls. While defense could potentially be her calling card, she’s smart on offense too. Made some nice feeds on drives and is a good finisher thanks to her height and wingspan advantage. Especially as she’s starting to look more graceful with her long strides on drives. Another promising sign, looked very confident as a spot up shooter. Has a smooth shot, with good rotation.

The combo guard showed a very consistent game all last season and continued that momentum in the summer. Nice outside shooting that you must get a hand up to contest the shot. Good hang time on the drives helps avoid the shot from being blocked. The incoming sophomore picked up an offer from Newman University this summer.

A returning player with varsity minutes usually does not mean breakout season as a sophomore. In Ela case it is more of you wanted to see the development from the freshman going into her sophomore season. During the summer Ela’s performance has put her on the radar of college coaches. Last week she picked up an offer from Newman University in Kansas.
A long versatile combo guard that can score with a 3-pointer or attack you downhill with the drive makes her a tough match up for smaller guards. On defense she has the lateral quickness to defend the drive and yet has the wingspan to block shots in the pain. As mentioned, showed positive signs as a freshman and the development over the summer solidifies that Ela is reading for her sophomore campaign.

. Her game is a versatile one, which is fitting for this demo. The first clip is a nice in and out move, then strong finish at the rim. The tape then moves on to highlight made jumpers and a couple defensive plays. Which shows off her long wingspan and ability to make an impact on defense with it. Closing out with more scoring, the video aims to provides a great description of her game. And hopefully makes a college coach want to keep tabs on her going forward.

Small town athlete, who appears to be just scratching the surface. Long arms and very mobile for her size. Gives her great switchability on defense, especially with an aggressive and locked in mentality. On offense, she’s can still look gangly at times. But is improving her footwork and handles, capable of pivoting, shot faking and finding unique shooting angles to get shots off on drives to the rim. Sleeper in the class, who already has a State Tournament appearance under her belt. And has made good use of her 15U spring.
