Abby stands out on any court she plays on. There was one common denominator during the 3v3, 4v4, & 5v5- and that was Roberts’ dominance to will each team she was on to win. This athlete takes “mamba mentality” to another level. Abby controls the tempo of the game. She can beat you off the dribble, she can stop on a dime and utilize her footwork, and she can elevate in the mid-range before an opponent has a chance to get a hand up. She is a great two-way player with a non-stop motor. In my opinion, this one never gets tired on the court. She is one of the few athletes that you will see go 110% on defense and offense without ever taking a play off.

This young lady does nothing but work. A talented kid who is impactful in more ways than one. She had a great weekend, during which she and her team competed at a high level. A superb individual who can score from multiple spots on the floor. She gets buckets, defends, and impacts the game in more ways than one. She got a couple of offers and plenty of looks as she showcased her skills this past weekend. Keep your eye on this hot commodity as her stock goes nothing but up from here.

Combo Guard with 3 point range. She has a strong solid frame with great body control and footwork at the basket. When she attacks, she can change speed and explode. 

A challenger who is about that work. Whoever gets her to commit, she will be a steal for their program. A hard-working kid who is going to give you all she has and then some. A fearless leader, she is going to go to bat for her club and give their opponent that work. She can score from multiple spots on the floor, make timely assists, defend, and contribute in multiple ways. She’s a solid kid who wants to be the best and works towards giving it her all. Keep an eye out for her as she is about to have a breakthrough year.

This young lady is primed to have a breakout year. A tough young lady who can fill it up from multiple spots on the floor. She can handle the rock, distribute the ball, and really contribute in multiple ways. She adds value to this GCA ball club in the fact that she can do so many things. This year, she is going to cook as she will not only benefit from a tough travel ball schedule, but the things she has done this offseason. Look for her to come out of the gates strong and receive some nice interest from school at the next level. Talented kid who is going to be a solid piece to a tough GCA ballclub.

Super tough kid who can score in multiple ways. She can play the one or two, but her ability to change speeds and exploit an area is so good. She can dial it up from deep, knock down the mid range, dive into her bag of finishes, really put the rock in the hole for her ball club. This kid is a go-getter and one who can contribute not only on the offensive end, but on the defensive end as well. I love her work ethic, her mentality, and the way she leaves it all out on the court. She is going to be a solid pick-up for whoever she gets the nod from next season. Until then, look for her to be a solid contributor for Grace as they look to capture the title this upcoming year.

 A selfless competitor who plays with a lot of energy and effort. A multi-sport athlete who utilizes her speed to cause havoc on the floor. Offensively, she can get to the rim, score, and facilitate the rock in the screen game, knock down 3 balls, and get into her mid-range jumper with ease. She is great in transition, and where she applies pressure on the defense, especially in a 2 on 1 situation. Defensively, she is going to go head-to-head with whoever she is guarding. She is going to slide her feet, use her body, and utilize her hands to get deflections and steals. She is a great communicator, one who lets her teammates know what’s going on at all times. She is a solid ball player who contributes to the GCA program in a mighty way.

Roberts is an electric guard that continues to play the game the right way. She has elite court vision. She continues to see the floor better than most guards. I love how Abby never settles for a three point shot. In a time, where we live and die by the three; Abby will take a dribble or two to knock down the mid-range. We have stated a thousand times how excellent her mid-range game is! She is an elite defender. She makes opponents work extremely hard. This kid is going to make a coach at the next level extremely happy! Trust me, Abby’s time is coming!

Roberts said, I know y’all like to talk about my excellent mid-range, but never forget that I can dial them up from down town too! Roberts hit numerous threes in the first half! She continues to be the MONSTER that I talked about before. She forced numerous turnovers again. She is one of the most consistent and efficient athletes on the court at all times. She made a beautiful drive to the basket to complete the old-fashioned 3 point play in overtime to pull her team within 2 at the 1:16 mark. She gave it all she had, as she always does!

Abby is a MONSTER! She is one of the best passers in the state! You won’t see a lazy pass from this one. Roberts is extremely unselfish. She made elite passes all evening and she was able to knock down the mid-range. If there is a 50/50 ball, my money is on Roberts to get it. She was involved in numerous jump balls and she helped her team get extra possessions! My favorite play from Abby was the offensive rebound that led to her score in the 3rd quarter.
