Abby impacted the game in a multitude of ways. She protected the rim on defense, took a charge, and knocked down two triples. She also made strong drives to the basket, where she either finished at the rim or got sent to the free throw line.

Abby Sapp Abby Sapp 5'9" | CG Owensboro | 2026 State KY was terrific for Kentuckiana Hoops 2026 Ewing at the Clash and made her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She showed how versatile she is by scoring from all-three levels on offense. But her primary focus is always on the defensive end as a perimeter and post defender. She had her best game against Legacy Force Supreme (Pink) on Sunday. She had 4 blocks, grabbed several rebounds, and scored 10 points. Abby also did a good job crashing the glass, and distributing the ball making sure everyone got a touch.

Sapp moves up from 56th to 43rd with a strong summer on the AAU circuit and the potential for a bigger role in her Sophomore season. Abby is a shifty penetrator off the bounce and has shown herself to be a good rebounder for her size and even has blocked some shots when the opportunity presents itself.

Sapp was doing a little bit of everything when she was on the floor. Her skillset is solid for a young guard. She has good ball handling skills and she threw some impressive passes (that ended up being assists). Sapp has good form on her shot and she can knock down shots from inside and outside the perimeter. She ran the floor well and she was finishing in transition.
