Abby has a nice pull-up jumper from the mid-range and always plays at her own pace, never allowing defensive pressure to speed her up. She is also a good spot-up shooter from the corners and moves well into open space. Around the basket, Abby is a crafty finisher who finds different ways to convert against the defense.

Sweeney’s combination of reliable ball control and shrewd finishing ability lead to proficient offense. She’s also productive in other areas as well, regularly filling the stat-sheet with multiple steals, rebounds plus assists. The Ducks will be an interesting watch in AAU with Abby playing a lead role.

A player that doesn’t necessarily excel at just one thing, rather someone who can affect various aspects of the game. Sweeney isn’t known for her scoring, but she’s mightily helpful on the boards and defending multiple positions. Abby is such a likeable young prospect.
