is a 6-7 senior center for Southern Arizona Prep and Lady Firestorm Nation. As a junior, she played in 14 varsity games, averaging 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds as well as 3.9 blocks per game. She also shot 68% from the field. Achol was selected as Player of the Game last season in a win over East Valley Athletes for Christ. She scored 18 points to go along with 15 rebounds. She also played well in the Arizona Summer Clash. One scout commented on her game: “Achol is an interior force. At 6-7, she is able to alter any opponent’s shot that tries to get to the rim. She is an elite rebounder and is able to track missed shots and score over shorter defenders with ease. She is ranked as the second-best center in Arizona for a reason.” Another scout had this to say about her game: “Her stock has begun to soar. She is a double-double machine. She has developed quickly and is now blossoming. She played very well in the Arizona SummerTournament. Don’t sleep on this young lady who has a 7-foot wingspan.” To date, Achol has scholarship offers from Texas Tech, BYU, San Jose State, and Idaho State. There certainly will be more throughout her senior season.
