I watched Midway vs Harriman, & Armes was exceptional again! Addison was beating people off the dribble. She was attacking the basket over and over again. I loved the beautiful three right before the quarter ended. She finished with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks in this one! I have talked about Addie’s length numerous times. She uses her length every single game. Athletes think that they can shoot over her and they underestimate her length, and she picks up block after block. Addison’s senior season isn’t over yet, and she has had a great senior year!

Armes scored first for Midway by knocking down a nice three! Armes knocked down 2 threes in the first quarter! She also added a beautiful block, a nice steal, and a beautiful dime to Cawood! She did this within the first 6 minutes of action! I’ve watched Addie play numerous times throughout her high school and AAU career, and she keeps getting better! She is playing more aggressive! She is finding her shot and letting it fly. She knocked down another 3 within the first minute of the 2nd quarter against Oakdale. She had 9 extremely fast points! Armes had a terrific all-around game from start to finish!

Armes poured it on against Harriman, and Midway needed her to pull out this close win! Armes finished the game with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks! Skylar Diggins stands at 5’9 and she once stated, “It’s not about how big you are.. what matters is how big you play!” Armes stands 6 feet tall so she definitely has the size. Tonight, she added a big exclamation mark beside her name because she played so much bigger! I have always loved Addie’s shot blocking ability. She uses her size and length to continue to block shots and rebound! She’s making a huge impact on both sides of the court. Breakout senior year is officially here!

Solid big who can play inside and out. She can stretch the floor, knocking down shots along the perimeter. You could insert in the high post or along the blocks, she will find a way to exploit the opponent’s weakness, putting the ball in the hole. Defensively, she is going to defend like crazy. Using her length to block shots, get deflections, and contribute on the boards. She’s a hungry individual who is a big time contributor for this ball club. Look for her to be a force in what this club does and have a solid year contributing to this team’s success.

Every time I watch Armes, I find something new to like about her game! I’ve talked about the corner 3’s before and I’ve talked about her great shot blocking ability, AND I have also talked about her great size & length that she utilizes extremely well! However, I have not covered her ability to drive to the basket! Addie drove to the basket numerous times and made it look easy. She has a nice shot fake and understands exactly when to use it to get to the rim. I love the old-fashioned 3 point play that she completed too! Armes flirted with a double-double. She finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 5 blocks! This one is going to be a steal at the next level! She continues to get better in all aspects of her game!

Armes is playing extremely well at the right time! Addie poured in 13 points and 4 rebounds. Of course, she added 2 blocks to her stat line too! Addie is going to continue to put up numbers like this as she is due a big end of the year! One thing that I continue to notice is the impact that Armes makes on the defensive side. Her size is a problem for smaller athletes and she continues to force turnovers! The offensive rebound & put back is also something that you will continue to see from the junior! If you don’t have Armes on your radar, you should. How many 6 footers are still available out there?! I’ll reiterate that if Addie keeps working, she has an extremely high ceiling!

Armes led her team in scoring with 14 points in a huge district win against Harriman. The Lady Waves head to the district championship! If this young team plays tough defense and has numerous athletes in double figure scoring, we can definetely see them walking away with the win! Armes also finished the night with 2 blocks! One thing that Addie continues to do is use her length to block shots! Keep your eyes on Armes, Cawood, and the entire Midway team. This team isn’t done yet!

Armes is a kid that is a true 3 and D player. Defensively, her length has made her a nightmare this season! She’s a 6’0 wing with nice athletcism, a nice stroke from 3, and great defensive instincts. She’s averaging 2.5 blocks and 3.5 deflections per game. She is a menace on the defensive end, and deadly if you leave her open.

The picture of Addie is a prime example of what she is great at; blocking shots! A great shot blocker that will dare you to shoot over her. Armes continues to make opponents alter their shots too. In her last game, she had 7 blocked shots! Bring out your best, “No, no, no” by Mutombo! This one knows exactly how to use her size and length on defense too! If she isn’t blocking shots, she is deflecting passes and making it difficult for anyone to score! The ceiling is extremely high for Armes!

Nice prospect with beautiful stroke. In the Green Wave offense, she will be looked to for a lot of points this year, and everyone knows she’s one of the best shooters in the area. Will need to continue to diversify her game so that defenders can’t press up on her. Has nice length to a be a factor attacking the rim, and the more she attacks, the more it will give her open space to shoot the 3. I really like her to have a breakout season.
