I love Addison’s game! She made an early impact with a nice cleanup bucket at the rim late in the first quarter. A lead guard who handles the ball extremely well, she used her body to shield off defenders and showed off nifty moves, including a slick behind-the-back dribble and a smooth pull-up in the lane. Addison was locked in on both ends, she came up with a steal and turned it into points, then nailed a three in the fourth to trim the deficit to single digits. She sees the floor really well and dropped a beautiful dime in transition, then dished another assist in the fourth.
Addison unfortunately caught the eye of the officials early in the Semi-State finale and had to sit quite a bit with foul trouble. However, when she was on the floor, especially for the majority of the fourth quarter, she was dominant. She left nothing behind, scored the ball, made big shots, created for others, rebounded, defended, and made sure she would give it everything. Each time she entered the game, Columbia City seemed to make a run. They even took a near 20-point deficit down to a couple of possessions late before she fouled out.
Addison is playing so much stronger over the past 12-15 months, and this Spring specifically, she has been a better finisher at the basket. She is able to absorb contact better, explode vertically to the basket better, and she has improved her touch at odd angles. Additionally, she is a nice facilitator who willingly finds open teammates, plus she has improved her quickness and footwork defensively.
I caught most of two of Addison’s four games Thursday, plus glimpses from neighboring courts of the other two, and she was outstanding the entire day. She was nonstop with her effort, but she was very much under control and contributed what needed to be done when it needed to be done without forcing any action. She got to the basket and scored in a variety of ways, she found open teammates with some nice-angled passes, and she was as good defensively as I think I’ve seen her. She has been verbally committed to Butler University for some time.
Addison was outstanding in her two outings. She was strong to the hoop, absorbed contact well, and either finished or earned free throw opportunities. She looks more explosive than a year ago, and she has added a very consistent mid-range pull-up game to her weaponry. She’s a true point guard whose poise helps keep her teammates calm and always feeling like they can compete.

led the charge for Always 100
2025 Elite 3SSB at Battle in the Mitten on Sunday. She dominated in all areas of the game by handling the ball effectively, driving the ball strong through contact and finishing at the rim, blocking shots, and deflecting passes. Addison split the defense off of a handoff and finished with her left at the rim. She knocked down free throws and showed the explosive athleticism, strength, poise, leaping ability, and complete game you would expect from a D1 guard. She is an exceptional prospect who is 100% committed to Butler.
