About Addison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong and steady in my game. I watch and read players well. Enjoy being a threat down under and make players to go out a bit further to take a shot. Level headed in heated moments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Words like strong and resilient are words that I would describe my mentality. I have been through a life changing accident where I had to make sure my mental game was stronger than my physical status was at that time of recover. My personality can be describe as being goofy, likes to joke and make people laugh. Great teammate on and off the courts. Shy at first, but watch out when I warm up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of school, I have been involved 4H with showing market goats for the past 7 years. I have been awarded ribbons for placements in my showings. I have been on student council, member of Key Club and Drug Free Club and Yearbook club within my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe that I have developed numerous skills within things that I have been involved in. I have learned to be a good teammate, to handle disappointment if I didn't place high in a goat showing, or lose a game in a sport. I have given back with my time by helping out with biddy camps with the younger children. I have had the opportunity to talk to younger classes about perseverance.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

On January 26 2024 I was involved in single car accident as a back seat passenger and was ejected from the car as it rolled over. Many injuries occurred, from broken back in 4 places, broken jaw in 3 places, dissected carta artery, losing 7 teeth. Stent was placed in neck, body braces worn for 6 months. Life and everything I knew was placed on hold. Worked extra hard to get back to where I am now

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that feels like family. Off and on the court. Good programs to choose from. Good graduating rates. Good atmosphere on campus and off campus.

Her summer club, Team Ohio under the direction of Tuck Conner, will help prepare her for that next stage. She jumps three spots to number 17.
