Hogue was in the zone off the top during the 3 on 3 games, and her ability to not only create her shot and drop it from outside, from multiple spots was nice. When the 5 on 5 games went live, so did she and her “catch and shoot” JUST DID IT for me, see evaluations here

Hogue just took target practice to open things up in the 3 on 3, and watching her play “around the world” dropping shots from everywhere had not only me, but the coaches and refs in awe see evaluation here. She is also heady and plays under control, reads the double team nicely, and makes the right decisions on her passes, but as solid as she was in all aspects to start the Showcase off, her defense was even better during the 5 on 5 as she read the screens, as well as beat the offensive player to the spot to make them pick up their dribble

Hogue left a lasting first impression, and when you can shoot the ball the way she can, it makes me wonder how I missed her, but I’m not a novice at this; all you have to do is show me on the court in person, and she did. She also used her athleticism on both ends, creating havoc, which led to turnovers on defense, yet her deceptive first step got her baskets off the dribble. Her pull-up jumper, stop and pop, as well as “catch and shoot” all mid to long-range, was among the best at the event
