Baker has also shown “on the court” progression as she’s coming off a Stock Riser Tip Sheet on the last evaluation, see evaluation here she’s placing herself in a position to continue to rise the chart. She stands above “the magic number” and is going AFTA the ball better on both ends of the court, yet her timing to block shots as well as her lateral movement to defend both inside and outside the paint have also gotten better. Her scoring inside from a variety of ways is a plus, and so is her facing the basket to score

Baker showed up at the PGH Freshman Showcase slightly injured, yet even though she wasn’t at a hunnid percent, she showed me signs of big things coming. Her “hands and footwork” to score as well as her court vision, gave me a more in-depth look than I had watching her via video, see evaluations here

If you don’t know GOOGLE IT, so seeing her in person, even at not being a a hunnid percent, is what separates me from someone “throwing a mic in your face and guessing”, so here’s the deal, she’s more powerful around the basket than I saw on the tape, and her finishing after contact looked good. She moves fluidly on both ends, dropped the short jumper and saw the floor, so when I said her UPSIDE is solid, you better believe it is

#15 Baker is one of those players who impressed me from afar, and although I didn’t see a lot, I saw enough, and when you factor in that she stands above “the magic number” and has a solid skillset, like her “hands and footwork” to finish, well, that foundation is huge. I also like her agility on defense, as she showed she could not only defend inside the paint but also step outside of it. She made my PLAYER SPOTLIGHT, and her upside is solid
