Addisyn is a defender who can turn steals directly into fast-break offense. Her ability to read passing lanes and instantly convert defensive pressure into points makes her a legitimate threat on the floor. She has outstanding court vision and a true pass-first mentality that has led to several assists for her teammates. I love how she sets the stage defensively and effortlessly creates opportunities for everyone around her; she is an incredibly fun player to watch.

Addisyn Hunter Addisyn Hunter 5'8" | PG/SG Willis | 2029 State TX was a competitor whose constant off-ball movement allowed her to get open. She stood out by pursuing 50/50 balls and crashing the boards. Throughout the 3-on-3 contests, her hustle was on full display as she made aggressive cuts directly to the rim for multiple smooth finishes.

It’s already been a year and a half since I first saw Hunter (read evaluation here) and her progress has been second to none. Her strength and physicality set her apart when attacking the basket, driving directly into her defender’s chest and absorbing contact without flailing or losing her balance. She also showed progression in her mid-range game, giving defenders another scoring option to account for beyond her ability to attack the rim.

Hunter has been on the prowl from day 1, showing her energy and versatility are second to none on both ends see evaluations here. The great thing about her is she hasn’t peaked, and with skillset and athleticism, she’s going to do some serious damage this season

Hunter is another player who sold me the first time I saw her play see evaluations here, and each time I’ve caught her, she has shown me something different. Her defense continues to rise, she outrebounds taller players, and seeing her read the floor and play the passing lane are all great, but her first step off the dribble to score, her court vision, as well as her pull-up jumper, were all on display

Hunter has the right last name because she’s constantly on the prowl for game, and boy, has she expanded her game. Her first step is even quicker, so that means she’s more explosive off the dribble, yet her finishing after contact, at times, acrobatically, is dangerous for defenders to try to contain her. The “stop and pop” has also improved, so has her court vision in transition, but her defense, timing, and playing the passing lane need to be mentioned as well

Hunter looks better every time I catch her, and seeing her add to her game each sighting see evaluations here speaks volumes on what’s coming. Her body control after contact, her “catch and shoot” with a hand in her face, as well as her “pull up jumper” in transition, keeps the defender guessing, plus she rebounds on both ends and defends tightly

Hunter has already made multiple Tip Sheets from me and seeing her for the very first time a little bit over a year ago sold me see evaluations here She’s stronger and applying more baseline to baseline heat defensively. She also is hitting the boards and going coast to coast to score or dish, but her court vision across the board has gotten better, so has her “stop and pop” jumper

Hunter was electrifying and left a lasting first impression, see evaluation here, yet my PGH Texas colleague @playerrimedies had already seen her at the Houston Lady Nets tryout, see evaluation here. I love her upside because her skillset, as well as the energy she brings on both ends, tells me her ceiling is high

Hunter falls into that “ceiling has no roof” group because she is one of the most explosive guards I have seen in her Texas class and when you factor in she not only uses her athleticism on both ends, “on the ball” baseline, plays the passing lane, her first step to get to the rim is powerful, so are her finishes. She also BATTLES for rebounds and loose balls, has a nice pull-up jumper, and solid court vision
